Baekhyun became world famous as the Main Vocalist of the top-selling, history-making legendary band #EXO, who paved the way for many! Baekhyun is a K-pop top-seller himself, having sold almost 5 Million Albums, a rare feat for a K-Pop Solo Artist! He's a powerhouse performer with one of the Best Voices of All time in Asia! Named "Genius Idol," he has stacked an elite solo resume that sets him apart in K-pop! He has won multiple Bonsangs and Best Male Artist Awards at 3 consecutive Mnet Asian Music Awards from 2019 to 2021. Baekhyun is also a Powerhouse live performer! Baekhyun has won numerous Awards as a Solo Artist including 5 Asian Pop Awards, 4 golden Disc Awards, 4 MAMA Awards, 3 Melon Music Awards, 3 Soompi Awards, 2 Hanteo Awards, 1 Asia Artist Award, a Gaon chart Music Award for Artist Of The Year, Physical (2nd Quarter) for "Delight", an SBS 'New Star' Drama Award and a YinYueTai V-Chart Award for Most Popular Singer in South Korea.

Baekyun is also a Fashion Icon and was the first K-Pop male artist to be featured solo on the cover of Harper's Bazaar! In 2020, he became Burberry's Global Brand Ambassador! He collaborated with Montblanc for the creation of the brand's digital watch and in 2018, he launched his own brand, Privé by BBH, a unisex street-wear brand that encourages people to embody being fearless" when they wear his clothes! In 2024, he was named Global Brand Ambassador for Bench, a Filipino lifestyle brand, actively promoting campaigns into 2025–2026 with fan events in Manila. Baekhyun has also been named brand ambassador by beauty brand TirTir and health food brand Life Pharm. Baekhyun frequently graces high-profile magazine covers including Dazed, Esquire, Style & Madame Figaro China, and is praised for his versatile, trend-setting style that blends luxury and casual aesthetics.

On February 5, 2018, Baekhyun performed the South Korean national anthem at the opening ceremony of the 132nd International Olympic Committee (IOC) session in front of Moon Jae-in, the President of South Korea, and Lee Hee-beom, the President of the Organizing Committee for the 2018 Winter Olympics. On March 21, 2024, he blew the world away with his breathtaking performance of the United States National Anthem ("The Star-Spangled Banner") and the South Korean National Anthem ("Aegukga") a cappella at the 2024 MLB World Tour: Seoul Series opening game on March 21, 2024, at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul! This was a major highlight, marking the MLB season opener between the LA Dodgers and San Diego Padres!

Baekhyun is also a philanthropist and in September 2024, he donated ₩50 million (US$38,294.74) to the Friends of the National Museum of Korea to support the recovery of Korean artifacts currently overseas, following his attendance at the organization's 50th-anniversary ceremony. In March 2025, he generously donated ₩200 million to support those affected by the raging fires in South Korea.
