@xysist I'm not well versed to make an educated opinion but off of what i've seen from the payments the IPP's collect, opening up the market a little more could counter the idea, procure cheaper electricity from ethiopia and reduce on the consumption from IPP's...

In 4yrs, Uhuru built 6,813 km of roads quietly. Ruto has managed just 2,584 km yet makes the loudest noise about roads. Empty debes make the most noise! 🤣 Another reason why Ruto must Go. Wantam!!
BD reports that Kenya is building far fewer roads under Ruto than it was under Uhuru
For example
Kenya built 1,729km of roads in 2021/22 under Uhuru.
Under Ruto:
2022/23 - 495km
2023/24 - 542km
2024/25 - 761km
2025/26 - 786km
That’s 2,584km in 4 years, vs 6,813km in the previous 4 - a 62% drop.
Put simply: Ruto’s government is building roads at 646km/year, vs Uhuru-era 1,703km/year.
But the Ruto Insults brigade is online here, making too much noise. The data will always expose the truth.
