3. Mage

Mages are Cambria's wild card. Spells run on energy orbs, which you farm by mining special ores and trading them at altars. Weapons and robes drop straight from monsters.

Shell out more gold to unlock better weapon skills, amp up damage, and speed up casts. Late-game, you can farm Warriors too—they've got killer drop rates.

Pros: Crushes both PvP and grouped PvE. Per the devs, the more HP you drain from a boss, the better your loot odds. T5 mobs? Guaranteed one mask drop per group, no matter the party size.

Cons: Steep costs and a learning curve on the controls.

The Cambria Gold Rush S3 season is just around the corner. Drawing from my experience with S2, I'll give a quick rundown on the game's classes and some basic gameplay tips. Word is S3 will have some fresh mechanics, but honestly, the key is picking a class you vibe with and jumping in. Hope this helps—thanks!

There are three main classes: Warrior, Archer, and Mage.
Warriors counter Archers
Archers counter Mages
Mages counter Warriors

That said, wild PvP is usually 1vMany scenarios, so if you're solo, your top priority should be booking it out of there. Staying alive is what lets you keep playing!

You unlock classes by building up specific skill levels—no strict requirements, just grind melee, ranged, or magic skills. Head to the newbie zone and smack some cows or sheep with your knife, arrows, or spells to rack up XP. Hit the right level, and you can learn the matching skills. Veteran players often "dual-spec" to handle both PvE (solo grinding) and PvP events comfortably.

2. Archer

Pros: PvP beast with tons of crowd control, super mobile, easy to find T5 dungeon groups, and late-game you can cross-spec into Warrior for solo T5 clears.

Cons: Rough early game for newbies—uneven progression, higher costs (you need that Archer-exclusive backpack), and solo play is a grind at first.

Archers wield bows or crossbows, firing arrows to match. After dropping a beast (like pigs, deer, bears, or dragons) with arrows, use your skinning knife to harvest hides and craft into Archer-specific leather armor. Late-game bonus: Treat Warriors like mobs—they drop loot like crazy.
