The 1,2,3 math of Ford plan to re-open schools.
1. The plan makes it impossible for schools to operate safely and effectively.
2 Thus many parents and teachers will opt out and make alternative arrangements
3.Therefore the public school system will be considerably weakened.
Congratulations to our B.Ed. Class of 2020! We're so proud of the strength, resilience, and dedication you've shown during these uniquely challenging times. You've made it!

.@Sflecce out here talking about systemic racism *while also* scrapping the Anti-Racism directorate, actively supporting carding, cutting funding to public services, back peddling re: race-based data collection & more. You can't do both, you're in power. Make change! #OnPoli
This short film by artist Liv McNeill (@libbyyliv) is a heart-wrenching and revelatory exploration of the feeling of isolation. With evocative music by @M83, this one sure got me. Oof.
Thank you, Liv!

As we listen to Justice Di Luca discuss the Theriault trial https://t.co/rPQAMjSEoy we are thinking of the needs of students to process the descriptions of brutal violence used against Dafonte Miller, bystander testimonies, and the urgent need to address anti-Black racism
After so much work, dedication and a final virtual audit, we are so happy to announce that Humbercrest has obtained PLATINUM Eco Schools certification today!! Thanks to our strong Eco Team of staff, students and parents. #proud

Every June 21st at exactly 5:29am on the first sunrise after the summer solstice, the sun aligns with the head of the serpent mound on Hiawatha First Nation Territory. This year, I was fortunate enough to obtain permission from Hiawatha to (1/3) #IndigenousPeoplesDay

toronto police never reported officer Michael Theriault to the SIU after his december 2016 attack on Dafonte Miller. the SIU only found out because Dafonte's lawyer contacted them.
Mark Saunders justified the decision not to call the SIU on Theriault. we won't forget it
