@GovernmentZA It is NOT FAKE NEWS, it has been proven time & again that it takes up to 5 years to process an application that can either get rejected meanwhile the applicant is continuing with life as normal inside the country! Where are all those immigrants who had lined up in long queues?
The details here might be inaccurate but the principle is absolutely true.
Tell me if I'm lying
Pathway 1:
1. They apply
2. Get accepted as an asylum seeker (granted the country of origin is actually going through hsrdships)
Pathways 2:
1. They apply
2. Get rejected -- The state functions on goodwill that they will voluntarily leave the country. Will they leave? Lol.. absolutely not!
Pathway 3:
1. They apply
2. They get rejected
3. They appeal
4. They get a receipt for that, but because you can't turn them back they'll still have to wait within the country still.
We've heard that there's cases going back till 1996 where people are still waiting for their appeals. That's literally 30 years of waiting.
You guys really think we're dumb.
Porous borders, illegal immigration and weak immigration enforcement pose serious challenges to South Africa's national security.
A country that cannot effectively control its borders cannot guarantee the safety and security of its citizens.
@mmkubayi you lied to the nation the Marabastad Refugee center is open the security tells us that they are processing only the old once, why are you lying to the Nation?
@CrimeWatch_RSA@PresidencyZA
So are we going to ignore that @Leon_Schreib appointed James Chapman, the head of advocacy and legal advisor at the Scalabrini Centre of Cape Town, to the Immigration Advisory Board while Scalabrini Center was actively litigating against Home Affairs on asylum and refugee policies???
The same organisation that has challenged the department in court (including matters that reached the Constitutional Court) now sits on the board advising the Minister??
What the hell is this?
BREAKING NEWS : Ordinary South Africans say they won’t allow the government to bully them into accepting illegal asylum seekers. They say the “government” will have to give back the money it took from the UN, but they do not want to integrate with illegal asylum seekers...
“Asylum seekers” at work; no matter how much noise we make about them; they continue to work (destroy, steal and kill). They don’t even care about the so called “xenophobic unrest”, the asylum seeker project will destroy SA. @Leon_Schreib@mmkubayi until when?
I will never understand a country with such a high rate of unemployment & poverty being so hell bent on being accommodative to outsiders when more than half of its own people do not even know what a decent life looks like 🤔🤔
@EFFSouthAfrica Maybe this Party was always for bo 'my friend'... They did get the funds to establish the party from one Mazzoti & they were very vocal about it...
