SIR ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಕುರಿತು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟತೆ: BLO ಗೊಂದಲ ನಿವಾರಣೆಗೆ ಕರೋಶಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತರಬೇತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರ

ಕರೋಶಿ, ಜುಲೈ 5: ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಕರೋಶಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮತದಾರರ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯ ವಿಶೇಷ ತೀವ್ರ ಪರಿಷ್ಕರಣೆ (SIR) ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಕುರಿತು ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೂ, BLO ಗಳಿಗೆ ಉಂಟಾಗಿರುವ ಗೊಂದಲಗಳನ್ನು ನಿವಾರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮತ್ತು ತರಬೇತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ನಾನು, SIR ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯ ಸರಿಯಾದ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆ ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ಅನೇಕ ಅರ್ಹ ನಾಗರಿಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮತದಾನದ ಹಕ್ಕಿನಿಂದ ವಂಚಿತರಾಗುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸಿದೆ. ಮತದಾರರ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಯಾರೂ ಹೊರಗುಳಿಯದಂತೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರೂ ಜಾಗರೂಕರಾಗಿರಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದೆ.

ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರದಲ್ಲಿ PPT (Presentation) ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ SIR ಎನ್ಯೂಮರೇಷನ್ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ಸರಳವಾಗಿ ವಿವರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಫಾರ್ಮ್‌ಗಳ ಸರಿಯಾದ ಭರ್ತಿ ವಿಧಾನ, ಅಗತ್ಯ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆ, ‘Logical Discrepancy’ ಗುರುತಿಸುವ ವಿಧಾನ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ವಿವಿಧ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಅಂಶಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. BLO ಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗುವ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಿಗೂ ಪರಿಹಾರ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ, ಮನೆಮನೆಗೆ ತೆರಳಿ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುವ ವಿಧಾನಗಳು, ಡೇಟಾ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಣೆ ವೇಳೆ ಅನುಸರಿಸಬೇಕಾದ ಮುನ್ನೆಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಯಾರೂ ಮತದಾರರ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಗುಳಿಯದಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.

ಭಾರತದಂತಹ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನಕ್ಷರಸ್ಥರ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಇನ್ನೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿರುವ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ, ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸುವುದು ಅತ್ಯಗತ್ಯವೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ ನಾಯಕರು SIR ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯ ಕುರಿತು ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸುವುದು ಅತ್ಯಗತ್ಯವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಅರ್ಹ ಮತದಾರರ ಹಕ್ಕು ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ ನಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾ��ಪಟ್ಟರು.

ಈ ತರಬೇತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಮೌಝಮ್ ಜಾ ಮುಲ್ಲಾನಿ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಜಾಕೀರ್ ನಾಯಕ್ವಾಡಿ, ಚಿಕ್ಕೋಡಿ ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಸಮಿತಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ತಬ್ರೇಜ್ ಶೇಖ್, ಕರೋಶಿ ಜಾಮಿಯಾ ಮಸೀದಿ ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳು, ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿ ಸದಸ್ಯರು, ವಿವಿಧ ಸಂಘ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು, ಪಕ್ಷದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು ಹಾಗೂ ನೂರಾರು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಗೊಳಿಸಿದರು.

Clarification on SIR Process: Training Workshop Held in Karoshi to Address BLO Confusion

Karoshi, July 5: A training and awareness workshop was organized in Karoshi, Belagavi district, to create public awareness about the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process of the electoral roll and to address the confusion faced by Booth Level Officers (BLOs).

Speaking as the chief guest at the program, I cautioned that without proper understanding of the SIR process, many eligible citizens may be deprived of their right to vote. I urged everyone to remain vigilant to ensure that no one is excluded from the voters’ list.

During the workshop, the entire SIR enumeration process was explained in a simple manner using a PPT (presentation). Various technical aspects, including the correct method of filling forms, preparation of required documents, and identification of “logical discrepancies,” were clearly explained. Practical issues faced by BLOs and party workers were also addressed with appropriate solutions.

Additionally, guidance was provided on methods of assisting people through door-to-door visits, precautions to be taken during data collection, and measures to ensure that no eligible voter is left out of the electoral roll.

Considering that the rate of illiteracy is still relatively high in a country like India, I emphasized that creating comprehensive awareness about technical processes is extremely important.

Leaders present at the event also stressed that raising awareness about the SIR process is essential and that safeguarding the voting rights of every eligible citizen is a collective responsibility.

The workshop was presided over by District President Mouzam Ja Mullani.

District Secretary Zakir Nayakvadi, Chikkodi Assembly Constituency Committee President Tabrez Shaikh, religious leaders of Karoshi Jamia Masjid, management committee members, office bearers of various organizations, party workers, and hundreds of members of the public participated and made the program a success.

ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ ಚಿಗಟೇರಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿರುವ ಸಿಲೆಂಡರ್ ಸ್ಫೋಟದ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆಯ ಘಟನೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಗಂಭೀರ ಮತ್ತು ಕಳವಳಕಾರಿ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳು ಜನರ ಜೀವ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗಾಗಿ ಇರುವ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳು. ಆದರೆ ಇಂತಹ ಸಂವೇ���ನಾಶೀಲ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲೇ ಸುರಕ್ಷತಾ ಲೋಪಗಳಿಂದ ಅಪಘಾತಗಳು ಸಂಭವಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಆಡಳಿತದ ನಿರ್ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದು ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದು ಘಟನೆ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲ, ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಗಂಭೀರ ದುರ್ಬಲತೆಯ ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾದ ಆಗ್ರಹಗಳು:

ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಸರ್ಜನ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಅಮಾನತು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
ನ್ಯಾಯಸಮ್ಮತ ಹಾಗೂ ನಿಷ್ಪಕ್ಷಪಾತ ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರ ತನಿಖಾ ಸಮಿತಿಯನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಬೇಕು.
ಘಟನೆಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾದ ಎಲ್ಲ ರೀತಿಯ ನಿರ್ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಬಹಿರಂಗಪಡಿಸಬೇಕು.

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ, ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಘಟನೆ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ, ಗಾಯಾಳುಗಳ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿ, ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಂದ ನಿಖರ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಿಗೆ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟನೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕು. ಇದು ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸವನ್ನು ಪುನಃಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಅಗತ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಮುಖ್ಯ ವಿಷಯವೆಂದರೆ, ಇಂತಹ ಘಟನೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತೆ ಮರುಕಳಿಸಬಾರದು. ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸುರಕ್ಷತಾ ಮಾನದಂಡಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುನಿಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತರಬೇಕು, ತುರ್ತು ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತ��ಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆ (emergency preparedness) ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಬೇಕು, ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯುತ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕಠಿಣ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು

ನಾನು ಹಾಗೂ ಎಸ್‌ಡಿಪಿಐ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಎ.ಆರ್. ತಾಹೀರ್ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಯೋಗ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ, ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿ, ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆಸಿ, ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

ಜನರ ಜೀವದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಟವಾಡುವ ಯಾವುದೇ ನಿರ್ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ನಾವು ಸಹಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಈ ಘಟನೆಯನ್ನು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿ ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ದೃಢ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

ನ್ಯಾಯ ಸಿಗುವವರೆಗೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಹೋರಾಟ ಮುಂದುವರಿಯುತ್ತದೆ.

The suspected cylinder explosion at Chigateri District Hospital in Davanagere is a very serious and alarming issue.

Government hospitals are meant to be safe places that protect people’s lives. However, accidents occurring in such sensitive locations due to safety lapses clearly reflect administrative negligence. This is not just an isolated incident, but a reflection of serious weaknesses in the public healthcare system.

In this regard, my clear demands are:

The concerned District Surgeon must be suspended immediately.

A fair, impartial, and independent inquiry committee must be constituted.

All forms of negligence that led to this incident must be exposed.

Furthermore, the State Health Minister must immediately visit the site, assess the condition of the injured, obtain accurate information from officials, and provide a clear explanation to the public. This is essential to restore the trust that people have lost.

The most important point is that such incidents must not recur. For this:

Strict safety standards must be enforced in hospitals.

Emergency preparedness must be strengthened.

Strict action must be taken against responsible officials.

Under my leadership, along with SDPI District President A.R. Tahir, a delegation visited the hospital, assessed the situation on the ground, held discussions with the concerned officials, and addressed the media.

We will not tolerate any negligence that puts people’s lives at risk. The government must treat this incident with the utmost seriousness and take immediate, decisive action.

Our struggle will continue until justice is delivered.

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ತಕ್ಷಣ ಮಧ್ಯಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ, ಮತದಾರರ ಪಟ್ಟಿ ಪರಿಷ್ಕರಣೆ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ‘Logical Discrepancy’ ಅಂಶವನ್ನು ಕೈಬಿಡುವಂತೆ ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಆಯೋಗವನ್ನು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಬೇಕು

2026ರ ಜೂನ್ 17ರಂದು ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ���ಗರದ ಫಲಕ್ ಪ್ಯಾಲೇಸ್ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಸೋಶಿಯಲ್ ಡೆಮಾಕ್ರಟಿಕ್ ಪಾರ್ಟಿ ಆಫ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ (SDPI) ಪಕ್ಷದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರ ಸಮಾವೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವ ಅವಕಾಶ ದೊರಕಿದ್ದು ನನಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷ ತಂದಿತು.

ನಾನು ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸಮಿತಿ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ಫಯಾಜ್ ಹರಿಹರ ಅವರು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದೆವು.

ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಸ್ವಾಯತ್ತ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಾದ ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಆಯೋಗವನ್ನು ದುರುಪಯೋಗಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಎಸ್‌ಐಆರ್ (Special Intensive Revision) ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಮತದಾರರ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಸಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗೆಲುವು ಸಾಧಿಸಲು ವಾಮಮಾರ್ಗ ಅನುಸರಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಪ್ರಬುದ್ಧ ಮತದಾರರ��� ಈ ಕುತಂತ್ರವನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಿಜೆಪಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಪಾಠ ಕಲಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದೆ.
ಎಸ್‌ಐಆರ್ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯನ್ನು ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಆಯೋಗ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ, ಅದರ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯೇ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರ ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಬಂಗಾಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೃತಕ ಬುದ್ಧಿಮತ್ತೆ (AI) ಆಧಾರಿತ ಮತದಾರರ ಪಟ್ಟಿ ಪರಿಷ್ಕರಣೆ ವೇಳೆ ‘Logical Discrepancy’ ಎಂಬ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಸುಮಾರು 27 ಲಕ್ಷ ಮತದಾರರು ಪಟ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಗುಳಿದಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ವರದಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿನ ಸಣ್ಣಪುಟ್�� ಅಕ್ಷರ ದೋಷಗಳನ್ನು ಆಧಾರವಾಗಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಮತದಾರರನ್ನು ಪಟ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಕೈಬಿಡುವುದು ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾದ ಘೋರ ಅನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗಿದೆ ಭಾರತದಂತಹ ಅನಕ್ಷರಸ್ಥರ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಇನ್ನೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿರುವ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಮತದಾರರ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯ ಪರಿಷ್ಕರಣೆಗೆ ಎಐ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಅವಲಂಬಿಸುವುದರಿಂದ ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ಮತದಾರರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮತದಾನದ ಹಕ್ಕಿನಿಂದ ವಂಚಿತರಾಗುವ ಅಪಾಯವಿದೆ. ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ಮಧ್ಯಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ, ಮತದಾರರ ಪಟ್ಟಿ ಪರಿಷ್ಕರಣೆ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ‘Logical Discrepancy’ ಅಂಶವನ್ನು ಕೈಬಿಡುವಂತೆ ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಆಯೋಗವನ್ನು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಬೇ��ು ಎಂದು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದೆ.

ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ, ಸಂಘಟನೆಯ ಬಲವರ್ಧನೆ, ಹಾಗೂ ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪಕ್ಷವನ್ನು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಬಲಿಷ್ಠಗೊಳಿಸುವ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಾದ ಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಿಚಾರ ವಿನಿಮಯ ನಡೆಸಿದೆವು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರ ಉತ್ಸಾಹ, ಬದ್ಧತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಘಟನಾ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕಂಡು ತುಂಬಾ ಹರ್ಷವಾಯಿತು.

ಈ ಸಮಾವೇಶವು ಪಕ್ಷದ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಬಲಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ಮತ್ತು ಜನಸೇವೆಯ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೃಢ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಇಡುವಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಹೆ��್ಜೆಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ನನ್ನದಲ್ಲಿದೆ.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಗೊಳಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರಿಗೆ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು.

Karnataka Government Must Immediately Intervene and Urge the Election Commission to Drop the ‘Logical Discrepancy’ Clause in Voter List Revision

I am pleased to have participated in the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) workers’ convention held on June 17, 2026, at Falak Palace Hall in Shivamogga.

I, along with State Committee Member Fayaz Harihar, attended the program as chief guests and addressed the gathering of party workers.

During my address, I stated that the BJP government is misusing the autonomous institution of the Election Commission and adopting unethical means to win elections by depriving voters of their rights through the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process. I called upon the aware and responsible voters of Karnataka to understand this conspiracy and teach the BJP a fitting lesson.

Although the SIR process is conducted by the Election Commission, its implementation largely depends on state government staff. Reports from West Bengal indicate that nearly 2.7 million voters were excluded from the voter list due to ‘Logical Discrepancy’ during an AI-based revision process. Excluding voters based on minor spelling errors in names is a grave injustice and goes against democratic principles.

In a country like India, where illiteracy levels are still significant, relying on AI technology for voter list revision could deprive lakhs of voters of their fundamental right to vote. In this context, I strongly urged the Karnataka Government to immediately intervene and press the Election Commission to remove the ‘Logical Discrepancy’ criterion from the voter list revision process.

We also held discussions with party workers regarding the current political situation, strengthening the organization, and strategies to further build the party in the coming days. I was highly encouraged by the enthusiasm, commitment, and active participation of the workers

ವಿಡಿಯೋದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬರುವಂತೆ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಕೊಠಡಿಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಮೊಣಕಾಲು ಮಟ್ಟ ನೀರು ನಿಂತಿದೆ. ಕಸ-ಕಡ್ಡಿ ತುಂಬಿ ಗಬ್ಬು ನಾರುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಎರಡಕ್ಕೂ ಇದು ಮಾರಕ.
ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ತಕ್ಷಣ ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ನೀರು ಹೊರಹಾಕಲು ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡಿ, ಶಾಶ್ವತ ಚರಂಡಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿ, ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಪರ್ಯಾಯ ತರಗತಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡಿ, ಮಳೆಗಾಲ ಪೂರ್ವ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆದ ಲೋಪಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಣೆ ನಿಗದಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಹಕ್ಕು ಮೂಲಭೂತ ಹಕ್ಕು. ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಜೊತೆ ಚೆಲ್ಲಾಟ ಬೇಡ. ತುರ್ತಾಗಿ ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸಿ.

Waterlogging at Batti Layout School in Davanagere South Assembly Constituency Disrupts Children’s Education – Urgent Action Demanded

This is the deplorable condition of the government school in Batti Layout, Davanagere South Assembly Constituency. Even light rain has left the entire school premises waterlogged, making it impossible for children to attend classes.

As seen in the video, knee-deep water has accumulated in front of the classrooms. The area is littered with garbage and emitting a foul stench. This poses a serious threat to both the health and education of the children.

I urge the concerned officials to immediately visit the school, arrange for the water to be drained, provide a permanent drainage system, set up alternative classrooms for the students, and fix accountability for the lapses in pre-monsoon preparedness.

The Right to Education is a fundamental right. Do not jeopardize the future of children. Please respond urgently.
