He is deluded by his wants for more.

That is why it is illegal to adopt a child in Islam and then change the child's surname to yours. That would be mixing up the lineages and can cause issues like this and many more in the future.

That which strikes a believer is a test and means to guide his heart (یَهۡدِ قَلۡبَهُ) to sincere faith.

Allah says
{ مَاۤ أ��صَابَ مِن مُّصِیبَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِۗ وَمَن یُؤۡمِنۢ بِٱللَّهِ یَهۡدِ قَلۡبَهُۥۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَیۡءٍ عَلِیمࣱ }

No calamity befalls, but with the Leave [i.e. decision and Qadar (Divine Preordainments)] of Allah, and whosoever believes in Allah,

Instead of being wasteful in the name of birthday celebration

Change a life! Buy an apprentice a machine. Pay someone's study fees. Give someone a huge amount of money to start a business. Look around ur home, cloth that family you know
