@Funkyclowngamin 4 Outburst was fantastic. I found that Slagstorm was too narrow and that Sear didn’t fit our aggro plan. On the other hand, Outburst really overperformed in testing: It’s the best way to “answer” Sage of the Skies 1 for 1, and it can be used very well defensively or offensively.
Made top 4 of the Canadian RC this weekend on Izzet Prowess and qualified for my second PT!!
Thank you to @CosmosMTG for the very tuned list and guide, @MirabelliAidan@adam_bruni for helping to discover the 4x Vibrant Outburst tech, @tyler_simon32 for playtesting every (1/3)
@denys_braga Thanks! I happened to dodge those cards. If you do run into them, I would think about fetching basic forest, saving your eldrazi spawns for colourless, and/or staggering your colourless lands to make charmaw awkward.
Split finals of the modern challenge with Broodscale 🦎
Hadn't played the deck until yesterday, but it seemed like a strong choice with Energy (mostly) gone and Vexing Bauble being well positioned. So I decided to try it out and ended up getting rewarded!
@loliverjan Thanks! I've only played the matchup once so I'm still unsure how to approach it myself, I'll have to get some more reps before I have a good answer
Matchup under the sun with me, and to so many others for believing in me to get back to the PT - my heart is so full ❤️

The postboard sunderflock plan vs GW/bant cub has been very real for me. The current lists have so much cheap removal and anti-aggro cards like sage and beza that our typical plan just isn't reliable.
