Azura

She/Her
Extreme perpetual homestuck and ISAT brainrot, occasionally other things like terraria.

[Azura @Azura401]

@LemurianRoR I don't care about any of this situation. With that out of the way, this is a blatantly ableist thing to say. You are basically saying its fine to call someone a slur because you decided they fall under the group that are most negatively impacted by it

[Azura @Azura401]

@DangoAfterDamn @purplepippin123 @chrysolized It does however have nothing to do with him being sober though and everything to do with him learning his religion is a gag in a story.

[Azura @Azura401]

@DangoAfterDamn @purplepippin123 @chrysolized No he choose to do all that. That's like the point of his meta role. He's supposed to be a joke character who is tired of that role who goes on to kickstart, and later become a major part of, the big bad. And there's also the doomed timeline (honk book) where he killed everyone

[Azura @Azura401]

@MimicLudo @Cuneyt_S_Sevi Gaster, Dess, and the kidnappings are one thing most likely

susie's home situation would be cool to know but hardly needed tbh

Ralsei's reveal can easily be done with one scene, and Flowery is Ralsei's equivalent to Gerson with Susie.

[Azura @Azura401]

@NysidamP @Sarcosuchus467 Land is not alive. So what harm would be happening? What is the moral issue?

[Azura @Azura401]

@NysidamP @Sarcosuchus467 Who is being imposed on? Again, as I asked in my other reply to you, why do you think its bad. What is actually morally wrong about it?

[Azura @Azura401]

@Lord101Mez @Tanasinn_AZ @lowgradef These websites are not hidden lol, the companies know about them

[Azura @Azura401]

@NysidamP @Sarcosuchus467 Colonialism was bad because of how it affected native people and ecosystems. Space does not have those. Genuinely asking, what is bad about theoretically colonising something like Mars

[Azura @Azura401]

@NysidamP @Sarcosuchus467 Colonialism is bad because its about replacing the people who are already there. Space is empty as dead, there is no colonialism unless we somehow find aliens and take their land.

[Azura @Azura401]

@_sodabreath Am I dumb but isn't that the exactly what cutural appropriation is? Like isn't it about taking something from a culture and warping it until its borderline unrecognisable while claiming its still the same thing?

[Azura @Azura401]

@EdgarJa31750866 @johnegbertlove6 I feel like at that point you have a character who is only similar on the surface level and might as well be a different character entirely imo. People can do what they want tho tbh I just like having an excuse to talk about the metanarrative commentary in homestuck's characters.

[Azura @Azura401]

@legiobabble @johnegbertlove6 Because that's never actually said to be what happened. The only time we lil cal possess someone it is very very visable.

[Azura @Azura401]

@johnegbertlove6 @EdgarJa31750866 That was the point. The entire point of Gamzee is that he's a joke character that learns he's a joke and takes revenge on the story. For example almost everything involving lil cal ties back to Gamzee.

[Azura @Azura401]

@vooraticus @MarcyBelowFloor They're the same person. Just look at Roxy, he's clearly dysphoric in both timelines, he's just ignoring it in candy. And a trans person not knowing they are trans yet doesn't make them not trans

[Azura @Azura401]

@vodkauntte @xxchixi @thegamingdex You know rose can literally see the future right

[Azura @Azura401]

@TennasNewCable Difficult games turn away most people in general really, they are often niche. And success ≠ enjoyment. Someone who can't "get good" at a game can still enjoy a game despite that.

[Azura @Azura401]

@TennasNewCable I'm not against difficulty options, they can great when implemented well, but I don't think they should be required like accessibility options that actually allow people to play the game.

[Azura @Azura401]

@TennasNewCable I think there's nuance to it. I think every game should be playable for anyone (flashing light toggles, colourblindness settings, motion blur, fov, contrast, etc), however difficulty ane enjoyment are subjective. There will always be people who don't enjoy a game

[Azura @Azura401]

@crystamnthquins People can't use recency bias either because chapter 3 came out last year and spamtenna somehow has 400 more fics than suselle, the second highest romantic ship tag, despite having a 4 year head start. And this is with explicit fics filtered out to even the field somewhat.

[Azura @Azura401]

@DuskMoon79306 @crystamnthquins You can make every ship stereotypical if you reduce them to something that doesn't even apply to them.
