Twenty-five years ago, in the days after 9/11, Iranians filled Tehran's squares with candles for the American dead, watched by the same security forces that still oppress them today.
While global news networks were broadcasting shocking footage of celebrations in the Middle East region, the people of Iran stood as a profound, solitary exception of human empathy for Americans. The regime chanted death. Our people offered light. Iranians and Americans have never been enemies. We share one common enemy: the Islamic fanaticism that murdered the 2,977, and that has held my country hostage for 47 years. We also share a fundamental common value: liberty. Liberty is the cornerstone on which America is built and what Iranians are fighting for today.
Seriously, I find it absolutely insane that the people of Gaza wasted so many years and billions of dollars just to build massive underground terror tunnels to kidnap Jews, and many around the world still believe they're the victims.
Have people lost their moral clarity?
Sunrise should be a promise of life. But for political prisoners in Iran, dawn can be the hour of execution.
Across the world, influencers and public voices are coming together under the banner of #LastBreath to draw urgent attention to those sentenced to death or at risk of execution in Iran.
They are speaking their names, telling their stories and breaking the silence before it is too late.
The January massacre did not end in the streets. It continues behind prison walls through torture, forced confessions, death sentences and executions.

The fight for liberty is universal and Iranians are on the front lines. Indeed they aren’t just seeking it, they are fighting and dying for it.
Inspired by Cyrus the Great, Iranians will succeed in again making Iran free. Thank you for your support for their fight, @tperkins.

Eight months have passed, and I still can’t understand how the world looked away while the Islamic regime turned Iran’s streets into blood.
Eight months later, the silence is still unbearable.
Ali Zarei, a patriotic political prisoner blinded in one eye during the 2022 uprising, announced in a phone message from Ghezel Hesar Prison that his unjust death sentence has been upheld by the Islamic Republic’s court.
Emphasizing that he has never engaged in any violent acts, Zarei urged human rights organizations and the global public to be his voice and stop the Islamic Republic from executing him.
Stand with Ali Zarei and be his voice. Do not let the regime’s killing machine take the life of this brave young man.
