@WyattSmith21377@Igoon2charlatan@Newworld7762@airbagg3d The problem is GTA V and most open world games like RDR2 have a fully loaded but partially unrendered map at all times, death stranding uses separate disconnected regions that you look as you progress, there’s a large difference between the death stranding games and Rckstar games
@WyattSmith21377@Igoon2charlatan@Newworld7762@airbagg3d Death stranding wasn’t a vast open world game, the game literally unrendered huge chunks of the map while you were in specific sections too, along with the fact the textures for death stranding where not as detailed and descaled as you got far away from them, therefore higher FPS
@WyattSmith21377@Igoon2charlatan@Newworld7762@airbagg3d Yea dawg you can’t have gta 6 at higher FPS because the bandwidth strain would be too much on even modern consoles, both the Series S/X and the PS5
(&pro) don’t have the necessary RAM and cpu capability to handle a HUGE open world while maintaining a stable 60 FPS.
@WyattSmith21377@Igoon2charlatan@Newworld7762@airbagg3d Rockstar also locks games at 30 FPS as they prioritize visual performance, visual fidelity, and open world density (available) map in order to provide a fun and vast game without needing high FPS for some sort of advantage unlike shooter games.
