Honoured to feature on the staff of the U16 NSW Metro Women for 2025 AJC.
A connected, resilient and adaptable group worked hard on their way to a🥈medal.
Lots of growth over the week, I am very proud of their efforts and what they came together to be! 🎏
One of my favorite moments from our (@basketse) Super Clinic was when Joe Boylan (Director of Player Development, Minnesota Timberwolves) was asked about the number of repetitions versus representativeness.
"Rather 30 shots in context than 1000 undefended shots."
🏆Wyndham Secures Championship Winning Coach🏆

The WBA wishes Coach Akalo all the very best for the season ahead, stay tuned for preseason action!
Avery Bradley talking about Disruptive Control
The unorthodox (but important) mindset that by applying pressure, you can make an offensive player more predictable... And his unique stealing technique.
Could listen to great defenders talk defense all day
It was a night to remember for @WyndhamBball in the Big V competition on Saturday night, with the side claiming the women’s state championship title. https://t.co/UcKOPj5N4p
It’s crazy you can make $5 million per year as a coach, with a staff of > 10 people, but can’t manage to develop players’ individual skills in 20 hrs of allotted time per week.
Couldn’t be more prouder to see the time and effort you’re giving to your YLW team mate - and you are now receiving the fruits of your labor. Can’t wait to see you burn the court!

It’s official - our @WyndhamBball Youth League Women are moving up to YL1! Proud of what the group was able to achieve this past season, looking forward to the challenges ahead 💪🏼 #WynAsOne 😈🏀📈 https://t.co/lFqU48LGXg
@HillierGerard@LUCASALLEN15 Download a blank fastdraw sheet as a PDF, can upload to a drawing/notetaking app (e.g. notability) and hey presto a 7/11 version of a digital whiteboard.
