NIU’s longtime head of sports medicine Phil Voorhis will retire on May 31 after 37 years at the school, he announced tonight on Instagram.
Voorhis joined NIU in August 1989 as a GA athletic trainer before becoming the Huskies’ head athletic trainer in September 1994.
U.S. Soccer mourns the loss of former Secretary General Hank Steinbrecher. A towering figure in the development and popularization of soccer in the United States during the 1990s, Steinbrecher passed away Tuesday at the age of 77.
