Liz Cheney: “I say this to my Republican colleagues who are defending the indefensible: There will come a day when Donald Trump is gone, but your dishonor will remain.”
Republicans, your dishonor will remain.
Republicans can’t win on their policies, so they are trying to dodge accountability by rewriting the rules. These lawmakers are going out of their way to silence the will of the people and deliberately undermine our democracy.
Any #AZCardinals fans going to the game tomorrow let’s give Marv a standing ovation when he’s announced and show him we still have his back. Retweet and spread the word.
This is Office David Rose, who was killed during a mass shooting at the CDC by an anti-vax extremist. Sec. Robert F. Kennedy Jr, who oversees the CDC, did not attend Rose’s funeral but found the time to speak at Charlie Kirk’s memorial.
RETWEET to honor Officer Rose! ❤️
The clips are endless. And yet you have Republicans and some liberals saying endlessly that Kirk was ‘civil’ and never name-called or insulted anyone.
Btw, notice how Kirk supporters never share any clips from his shows. Now you know why.
Gavin Newsom: “I’ll be signing a bill, the first in the nation, saying enough. To ICE, unmask. What are you afraid of? You’re gonna go out and you’re gonna do enforcement? Provide an ID. Tell us what agency you represent.”
We should be clear about who Charlie Kirk was: a man who believed that the Civil Rights Act that granted Black Americans the right to vote was a “mistake,” who after the violent attack on Paul Pelosi claimed that “some amazing patriot out there” should bail out his assailant, and accused Jews of controlling “not just the colleges – it’s the nonprofits, it’s the movies, it’s Hollywood, it’s all of it.”
His rhetoric and beliefs were ignorant and sought to disenfranchise millions of Americans – far from “working tirelessly to promote unity” as asserted by the majority in this resolution.”
We can condemn his horrific assassination and the scourge of political violence without uplifting these ideas.
