Tree planting is important, but it must not destroy much rarer, valuable habitats. This wildflower-rich grassland in Cumbria has been planted without thought to the Butterfly Orchids, Betony, Scabious, Restharrow, Harebell and assoc'd biodiversity.

@HampshireChap I once pruned the lower branches at request of owners.. every bit as sharp as they look! Nice timber actually but very lightweight, we have a fruit bowl but bananas unbalance apples etc keeps capsizing 😕
