@Willikins I am a parent. I don’t get it. I busted my ass from the time they were 6 months old to make sure they had college funds paid for, so they’d have a better life. Now they are through that, so I’ll now make sure that I take care of my own future, so they don’t need to wipe my ass.

@GaladDamodred Omg… that is so much at once. I lost my grandfather right after Thanksgiving one year, and it made for a pretty difficult Christmas. It does eventually hurt less, but for now, big hug. I hope you get some peace soon.

@venusxjupiter27 About the time you convinced me to start drinking water, my daughter was diagnosed with a heart condition and had to give up caffeine, so I gave it up with her. I haven’t had any in about two years now. One heavy caffeine drink would probably have me thumping now. 😆

Went to the park for PokeBalls. Homeless dude was out cold on the bench in the sunbeams. He looked super relaxed. Came back around, he was on the ground with an empty liter bottle of vodka. His breathing looked weird, so I got down and checked his pulse, and it was

@JackBWuzHere I’d just hope someone would stop if it was me. His pulse was slow and weak, and I couldn’t feel all the beats in the rhythm. They could have been there, but with just fingers, it’s hard to feel it when it’s that weak. Much pressure at all cuts it off.

I asked the officer that showed up before the ambulance if he had a defibrillator in his car, in case we needed it before the ambulance. He said his boss did. I asked if his boss was on the way, and he said no. I’m hoping the “Then that was a stupid answer” glare translated.

@venusxjupiter27 I at least know that pie she brought to the last potluck was store bought. She said she made it, but we all know Marie Calendars made that pie. I ran into her in the store early this morning, still wearing last night’s clothes. That’s all I know.
