Interesting read “Far too much of the public’s business—because school board business is the public’s business—happens behind closed doors or in private emails instead of in public meetings, where it belongs.”. Will school boards be extinct by 2030? https://t.co/SgB0ehsQ9r
On #WorldTeachersDay I'd like to thank all #bced teachers and wish you better and safer working conditions, and increased pay that puts you at the top of Canada's provinces, and reflects the value of the important work you do. 🙏
@MovingParadigms @VSB39@bcedplan This is what happens when gov’t doesn’t give clear guidelines across the province! @bctf has been fighting for reduced class sizes. What a great time 4 gov’t to show how much they truly care about students. So far I have seen very little from #bcndp@Rob_Fleming in this regard.
Reiteramos un llamado al @ICFEScol para que replantee las Pruebas de este año. El costo de $45.000, que es necesario para una familia en la actual crisis, y la realización presencial pueden incidir contra el futuro de la educación de muchos estudiantes.

@RonaldNHughes@billamos Hence why in the TV ad she was far away from students. IRL Teachers are in classrooms with 20-25 students in the intermediate grades (4-7). Social distancing is a joke in many elementary classrooms, this why mask as are a good idea! What doesn’t she get?
@joan_isaacs @bcliberals @Wilkinson4BC Your party’s education promise are all empty handed. After the disastrous mess Clark left in the education sector there’s no way to believe you will do anything different. #bcpoli#bced
@5kids1condo@pattibacchus I see a lot of pages: true. How id your child’s comfort level with the material? Are they easy exercises that serve as practices for what was done in class? Or are they going through new material on their own? Quantity & quality are different things.
As if #bced teachers and students needed more stress and anxiety, the Foundation Skills Assessment is just around the corner. #BCpoli should cancel them because FSAs are:
This school year more than ever: my students are my curriculum. I don’t care if we don’t get through nor finish everything. It is all about communication, providing acquisition opportunities and lowering anxiety
The combination of COVID19 pandemic and extremely poor wildfire air quality is deeply concerning for #bced. Teachers and students should not be in crowded classes with no ventilation or fresh air. #BCpoli, the employers, @CDCofBC and PHO need to provide advice and take action now
A #SafeSeptember in #BCed starts with physical distancing. Teachers, support staff and students need the same layers of protection as everyone else. Send an email to your #bcpoli MLA about spending the $242 million in #cdnpoli funding to make schools safer https://t.co/CWDriUdjay
