Bluejay Baseball will play Elkhorn North today in the Class B State Baseball Tournament at Tal Anderson Field (UNO). Come cheer on our Jays at 4:00pm! Jay will need to win twice to advance to the State Final on Friday.

Bluejay Baseball defeated Omaha Concordia in 8 innings 4-3 yesterday at Plum Creek Park in a B-5 district game. Great game, Jays! Seward (20-5) will host Gretna East in the District Final game at 4:30pm today (Friday, May 8th) for a trip to the state tournament! #sewardjays

#nebpreps Life update here … I’m planning to retire this summer (mid-July or so). Thanks to all of the coaches, athletic directors, players and fans I’ve crossed paths with in my 38 (!) years at The World-Herald. It’s been my honor. 😀
