French naval shipbuilder Couach has entered Nigeria through a strategic defence partnership with SP Offshore Nigeria Limited / SPO-DICON aimed at boosting maritime security and defence capability.

Couach, founded in 1897, specialises in the manufacture of high-speed interceptors, patrol vessels, unmanned surface vehicles (USVs), and maritime security systems.

The partnership will support local naval manufacturing and assembly, maritime security vessel programs, naval training, fleet maintenance infrastructure, and technical skills development.

The organisation is also developing local capability programs, including the unmanned aerial platform initiative and ammunition manufacturing infrastructure projects.

​First, look at why the US eventually withdrew from Afghanistan. Was it a lack of resources? No. The US maintained a massive military presence there for 20 years! They lost over 2,000 soldiers and had over 20,000 injured before finally withdrawing in 2021 after a deal with the Taliban. In Iraq 2003, the US invaded and terrorism actually skyrocketed, violence peaked specifically because of the vacuum created by the invasion.
​Then look at Libya in 2011. The US bombed them under the guise of "stopping a humanitarian crisis." Those airstrikes crippled Libya’s military infrastructure and collapsed the nation entirely, turning it into a playground for terrorists. No nation dared to question the US, and they’ve successfully invaded countries with zero accountability!

​Now, back to the AES, their combined troops don't even come close to the power of the Nigerian military. From raw manpower to air superiority, Nigeria is leagues ahead. Nigeria is built for conventional war. Meanwhile, the AES nations are currently struggling with high intensity terrorism, Mali and Burkina Faso have between 40% to 60% of their territory under terrorist control, with the governments barely holding onto the major cities. You think the AES can fight a war against Nigeria and their own internal insurgents and win?
​This isn’t "hit and run" guerrilla tactics. This is direct warfare. We’re talking about sustained airstrikes and massive battalions of foot soldiers.
​Funfact: Those three nations are landlocked. They have zero Navy. They rely entirely on neighboring countries for shipments of grain, fuel, and every single essential resource that comes by sea. Nigeria has the most powerful naval presence in the Gulf of Guinea. We could enforce a maritime blockade tomorrow, and the AES economies would choke in weeks!

​Even if their allies try to send military equipment, the Nigerian Navy would intercept those ships before they even hit the docks in Cotonou or Lomé. Plus, Nigeria has its own oil we can fuel our tanks and jets indefinitely.
The AES has to import every drop of fuel through territories we can block. The war would be over before it even started!
​So if you think a breakout between Nigeria and the AES ends in a Nigerian defeat, you’re daydreaming. 😂😂 Nigeria wouldn't just win, the AES wouldn't even be able to get their boots to the border before they ran out of gas!

Why are some persons trying hard to become indigenous Lagosians?

Yoruba and Igbo are different.

That we belong in the same country doesn’t make us “siblings”. We don’t share the same philosophical beliefs regarding social organisation.

To the Yoruba, the world is understood through the duality of “oko” (the farm/the outside world) and “ile” (the home/the ancestral root).

This spatial philosophy dictates that no matter how far one sojourns into the “oko” for work, trade, or adventure, the “ile” remains the ultimate center of gravity.

That is why Yoruba social organisation is inherently centripetal. Success is rarely measured by how well one integrates abroad, but by how much of that success is brought back to renovate the family compound or contribute to the hometown’s development.

This is reflected in the concept of "Ajo ko n’idi, ile l’abo" (The journey has no end; the home is the ultimate return). In this system, hierarchy and lineage are the bedrock, and one's identity is permanently anchored to a specific physical and ancestral origin.

So to many Yoruba who aren’t Lagos indigenes, they don’t have a reason to claim Lagos indigeneity like some desperados.

Even though the children of Oduduwa consider every part of Yoruba land their home, they still accentuate their roots in Ibadan or Ondo as the ultimate homeland where their primary identity is anchored.

You were going to fight CORRUPTION then you picked on a man like Tafawa Balewa who lived a very modest life, living on the brinks of poverty whereas you passed in front of the houses of Ozumba Mbadiwe, Nwafor Orizu etc, men who were notoriously corrupt, and you didn't branch to visit them.

You thought some of your superior Military Offciers were aiding the Politicians in corruption then you picked on a man like Gen. Ademulegun and Gen Maimalari, career Offciers minding their businesses but conveniently forgot that your GOC, HEAD OF ARMY, Gen. Aguiyi-Ironsi was the closest to the politicians and he hobnobbed with them.

And after the whole thing you installed Aguiyi-Ironsi as Head of State while the murderers were conveniently placed under protective custody and receiving their salaries and allowances.

And Aguiyi-Ironsi appointed an Five-man council of Advisers who were ALL IBOS.

And the same Aguiyi-Ironsi dissolved the regions, suspended regional constitution and put in place the iniquitous Decree 34 to harmonize the whole country and bring it under the control of Ibos.

And you just relaxed, so naive and expected no repercussions.

It is the kind of thinking that you still have till today, pouring your population into the lands of other people and scheming to displace them and overtake their social,political and economic lives from within.

And you don't expect the people to react.

When they react you call them tribalists.

When they stop you from dominating them on their ancestral lands you cry marginalisation.

When they point out these things to you you call them bigots.

Everybody is wrong except you.

The Ghanaians are wrong for repelling your plans to float a Kingdom under their noses. The South-African Zulus were wrong when they revolted against you for destroying the lives of their youths with drugs and prostitution.
