Hate speech has been here in our world and societies way before even any form of online interaction existed. It is like yin and yang, it's the evil part of the good. however, hate speech has been becoming a bigger problem just because of how effective it had become due to-

Because of social media. thus, social media cannot exist without these hate comments, we just need to move away from them, delete or look at the other good comments. or think of it like this "they're hating because they are unhappy with themselves and jealous of you" - My parents

However, many humans by nature see the bad before the good. so even if we have 100 good comments on one post the 1~3 hate comments will still get the best of use, and it's interesting to see this because I think this trait of "only seeing the bad" was embedded in our thought-

back to the term agreement lesson, I just got a grade for another class, where we were given 4 themes/questions and told to right 4 entries. every important point was in bold but the most imported one was all the way in the corner and in tiny font and it is (choose one theme and

and write 4 examples for it) but the number of them they wrote "each" in bold in the interactions made me think about each theme (which let me tell it was hard to look up the evidence for each theme). it gave me strong "term agreement" vibes

reflecting on lesson 11, I do think that Disney kinda started to portray gender roles differently. for example, the oldest Disney movies were all about "my life sucks but let me sit in my cabin/tower in the middle of nowhere and wait for that prince charming in a shining armor"

the fact that they still included the "it's barbaric" means the west still view the east as barbaric, which means kids are still cornered to believe these stereotypes, which means there is a possibility they will grow up to be somewhat worried to be around people from the east
