Rika makes a simple death binding vow - if I die, this ability activates and infect the person nearest to me, then spread with contact (touching, kissingm sex...) or via blood (mosquitoes, blood donation, bleeding...)

So far, you would be correct in saying that this is barely a Grade 1 or a Special Grade 1 - same rank as Naoya Zen'in.

However, as I am a competent writer, this is how i'd elevate this to befit The Queen of Curses - Orimoto Rika.

Highest Skill Use (Pica Shrike):

The user forces the cursed energy needles to summon inside of a target - vital organs, this requires the opponent/victim to be unaware of the user (Rika)'s presence.

If done correctly, this is an instant kill/ambush ability.

Mid-Level Skill Use (Hedgehog):

The user creates a barrier of needles around themselves. The space around them is permanently "occupied" by porcupine like obstructions, making it impossible for an opponent to strike without being impaled by the user's own cursed energy.

Simplest Use (Needle Projectiles):

The user manifests physical, invisible slivers of Cursed Energy in a line. They are used like basic ranged weapons or hidden traps in a corridor.

Instead of manifesting solid objects, the user project these super fine needle-like lines of cursed energy.

These "needles" do not trigger defensive barriers like Simple Domains nor Infinity because are "everywhere" but have zero volume.

Based on the concept of a Kakeya set being mathematically "everywhere" while occupying zero physical volume.

This technique will weaponize the Besicovitch paradox.

I'm going to give (Adult Human) Orimoto Rika a cursed technique inspired by Hong Wang's joint paper with Joshua Zahl that earned her the 2026 Nobel Fields Medal Award.
