#BACA is deeply saddened by the passing of Professor Harold Ellis CBE FRCS, a towering figure in British surgery and anatomical education. (1/5)

He qualified in medicine at Oxford in 1948, later became Professor of Surgery at Westminster Medical School, and continued teaching clinical anatomy after retirement, including at Guy’s campus, King’s College London. (4/5)
