My monster project to play all 48 preludes and fugues in all 48 counties of England @BachProject48 is ongoing and has so far raised over £30,000 for these brilliant organisations. It has been one of the most challenging and rewarding musical projects of my career to date!

The project is touring Bach’s Well-Tempered Clavier (‘the 48’) around the 48 counties of England, and after a bit of a breather the CITY OF LONDON performance has been announced.

The music will be divided across 6 concerts at all times of day/night, spread through @templemusicfdn's Holy Week Festival in March. As always the performances raise money for @FutureTalentUK @LiveMusicNowUK @YouthMusic @HelpMusicians: to date the project has raised over £30,000.

2 years ago today: the first performance of Project 48. Since then, over 40 venues - gardens/cathedrals/theatres/foyers - across over 20 counties. That’s about 10,000 preludes & fugues. And this week crossed the £30,000 mark raised for 4 amazing charities! 🎉 Lots more to come.

Pianist @Libby_Burgess joined us in Cornwall this March to play @BachProject48.
The Cornish leg of the tour has raised over £1,500 for @HelpMusicians, @LiveMusicNowUK, @YouthMusic & @FutureTalentUK.
The running total of the project is now at almost £30,000!
