Rifle made by an aircraft designer Balkhovitinov.
It's very similar to Konstantinov rifle (2B-A-40) and was actually an internal competitor for it.
2 kg. 900mm long. 500 RPM.
*The gun in image misses some parts.
Lost to 2B-A-40. Only 2 were made.

A gun to replace PPSh that didn't succeed
Open bolt. The recoil spring was positioned around the barrel.
Weight: 2.01 kg
Length: 710 mm in the firing position and 395 mm with the stock folded.
Mod. 1940 completely lost when the dust cover struck the shooter.
