Day 2 of the Backwell Silver and Gold Practice on Dartmoor complete. All three groups safely in camp. Tonight the Silvers have a campsite and the Golds are wild camping on the moor. So proud of them all! @Backwell_School @DofESouthWest

A sunny day but luckily a nice breeze out on the moor. All groups safely in camp. Silvers are wild camping by a stream and Golds are in a campsite tonight and will be wild tomorrow. All in good spirits and health!

Well that was a wet first evening! Some teams were lucky and managed to get tents up before the rain........All out of camp this morning and in good spirits though....and the sun is shining ☀️

Successful Bronze training weekend. Combination of outdoor navigation practice and indoor route planning. 14 groups all ready for their assessed expedition. Well done everyone!
