Took two minutes for a chant of "sign on" at the City Ground. Unemployment rate in Nottingham is 5.9% compared to 5.7% in Liverpool. I obviously don't say this as competition, but it's grim that a universal social problem a source of chanting.

As the Covid narrative fell apart, the world showed signs that it was on the edge of something significant.
The mass awakening finally felt like it was something more than a hope and a dream.

The dam that keeps humanity trapped in a reservoir of helplessness, was quite clearly cracking and it felt inevitable that the flood of consciousness would soon be flowing through humanity.

In the last two weeks, this has faded. The people who were being brought together and saw themselves in each other, felt the pain of one another, related to and spoke up for others without prerequisites,,  are suddenly scurrying back to the perceived comfort of their tribes, and the divisive leaders that seem to feel they have the right to speak for that group.

Critical thought has been replaced by "What does my 'side' say I should think?"

We've gone from all lives matter to some lives matter more than others, and I'm not going to lie, it's hella fucking depressing to watch the metaphorical water levels dropping, and the dam breathing a sign of relief.

But that sigh of relief will be short lived. Of that I am certain. Because I refuse to give in, and I refuse to give up. I refuse to accept that we are here solely to fight among ourselves, and that war and violent death are somehow written in the stars, and pre-ordaned.

I refuse to believe the destiny of a child, a miracle in itself, is to have its life ripped away and its dismembered body wrapped in white cotton, purely for being born in the wrong geographical location.

The awakening is coming and humanity will prevail, even if it doesn't feel like it right now.

The amount of footage of murdered children, is incomputable.
My daughter woke up to a coin from the tooth fairy this morning, as incalculable numbers aren't awaking at all.
It's hard to deny the reality that the devil is now here on earth. No longer dwelling in the depths, but instead residing here, in the blackened hearts of anyone that can fire a rocket, or a bullet, or wield a knife with the intention of extinguishing the most sacred of things. Life. It needs to stop.
