@Cantona_Collars I don’t buy the line about getting players earlier in their careers…i.e the players peak. The same was said about Cavani, Casemiro, Blanc, Falaco. Most of the time their best years are behind them and we eulogise their career greatness over their impact at United.

Vidic had Rio beside him, had more longevity and is surely close to Stam? It’s always so hard to make a call

@Cantona_Collars Not sure if I’m sold on him. If his form dipped so much last season because he head was turned by United’s interest it doesn’t say much for his capacity to manage the pressures of playing for United. Don’t like the fact he was subbed off in most games last season too
