@PorkySmothers @beerooyay @gtlovesyou @GOATED_LF Gmail. Apple Mail. Yahoo. Doesn’t make a difference. It’s how the technology works and if said providers offer the “feature”. All the user is doing is deleting a queued, but not sent, email. They now bake in a grace period once you hit send.

@beerooyay @PorkySmothers @gtlovesyou @GOATED_LF It is not actually “sent”, then “deleted”. That’s the point. Now, if you have admin privileges to the email server, you could log into the server itself and delete the message but we all know Olave doesn’t have said access. Nor does any normal email user. Again, that’s my point.

@beerooyay @PorkySmothers @gtlovesyou @GOATED_LF You need to understand the technology. The email isn’t delivered for a few seconds, which allows the “delete” feature. What happens under the hood is the email is queued and not actually sent. Therefore, you can take action before it’s actually sent.

@ZachHumphries @GOATED_LF It isn’t. Olave doesn’t work for the IT department and definitely doesn’t have admin privileges to their Exchange server.

@GOATED_LF This isn’t true. That’s not how email works. Once sent, a user cannot delete an email. The only technical possibility of this occurring would be for Olave to be an Exchange admin and delete the email from the Exchange server. Olave isn’t IT so that ain’t happening.

@AndyHolloway I left him in one of my leagues. The one where I’m fighting for that last playoff spot so it’s do or die and the projection had me down 20. The other league, I benched him. Already looking at a possible first round bye so I think I’m safe.
