I just got back from North Carolina and Georgia. It’s hard to put into words the complete devastation of so many towns that literally washed away when a wall of water swept thru their town. Unfortunately, there are still many people who are not getting the assistance they need. Their local emergency resources are overwhelmed. A “way ahead” is difficult to comprehend at this moment. They need our help. I delivered a trailer full of chainsaws, generators, electrolytes/hydration and more that people asked for. We will be sending more direct support. This morning, we held a joint fundraiser with my non-profit We Must Protect (100% volunteer run) and TTG Training and raised over $45k, all of which will go directly to Hurricane Helene survivors.
