Yesterday, two people paid for my private mentorship which is N100,000 and I didn’t feel as elated as I used to last year.

Around this time last year, I wouldn’t even open my mouth to say N100,000 for a mentorship, highest I took then was N50,000. But now I can confidently charge that, and will even increase it.

Writing this for those of you who are at the beginning phase. Keep showing up, keep building, your values or perceived rate will definitely increase overtime.

Maybe you do graphics design, and you feel charging $50 for a design is outrageous for your level, you’ll discover there are people that charge $200 for similar work. Just keep showing up, and keep improving, you’ll get to a point you don’t have to beg people to patronize you.

This was a picture of me last year.

I didn’t have an X account.
I was barely making 500-700.
I had about 78 people in my community.
My YouTube channel had about 100+ subs
Had less expensive gadgets
Didn’t have social networks on KDP
Was beginning to gain traction in school
And many more…

Today, I have an X account with over 480 subs, hosted multiple live spaces and became more confident in my skills. @BigJahv my brother and friend asked me to create this, and I’m happy at how far and people I’ve connected with. Thank you so much bro.

Well, KDP royalties increased too. Currently have over 400 in the community and 20+ in the Inner circle. For me, this is great growth and I’m super thankful for how far I’ve come.

I have better gadgets now, improved confidence and I can afford to outsource. I didn’t even know I’ll take this KDP serious 😂

Well, I’m so happy today. The first birthday in six years that I’m fully happy. I don’t know how, but it’s got something to do with fulfillment. I feel more fulfilled now than ever, and I believe the coming year holds more.

Yesterday at work, I received an award of recognition and I’m still taking it all in.

This means more to me than I can fully put into words.

For context, just a few years ago, I was on a completely different path. I had spent five years pursuing admission to study medicine, because at the time, it was either that or nothing.

Then one day, A close friend called me crying. She had fallen victim to a scammer posing as a representative of her bank and lost her entire savings, simply because she unknowingly shared information that should have remained private.

That incident sent me into a relentless research.

I wanted to understand how something like that could happen, and more importantly how it could be prevented.

That search led me to #Cybersecurity.

Driven by that experience and a desire to protect others from similar harm, I prayed specifically about building my cyber career in the financial sector.

And what a privilege it is, not only to live out my answered prayer, but also to be recognized for the work that comes from it.
