Horror movies. Pop music. Intersectional, antiracist, pro-reparations progressivism can exist. Stand for change, not abuse; Trans rights! Free Palestine! He/him
@elonmusk Elon Musk = forever synonymous with total human trash. Go do some more drugs before ever crying to any of us for hoping your pathetic business fails.
Next time, be a better person. It's free, I hope you realize. That ought to appeal to a greedy shit.
@LovelyZena Annabelle was irredeemable from start to finish and the racism of sacrificing Alfre Woodard just called attention to how bad the film was.
So, they couldn't have saved her character. Just Alfre Woodard's dignity by advising her not to do the film.
Just a reminder: Rob Zombie's Halloween II is one of the most visually majestic horror films I've seen.
(I sped up "Love Hurts" because this went to youtube and I wanted to take copyright precautions.)
I *did* think maybe I was still light-headed when I re-watched this film in 2021 after just getting out of the hospital...
Now, I've watched it again. And I'm ready to go on record:
Halloween 5 is not only an excellent film but one of the absolute best of the franchise.
The caricatures, the accents, and the grotesquely sentimental ending ("Climb Every Mountain"!) are like a mashup of Don't Hug Me, I'm Scared and the Beetlejuice animated series.
I knew it would be worth every penny of the $20.61 I paid for it(s out of print DVD). Will Vinton's (23-minute) Comedy of Horrors (1991) is a seasonal must-watch.
Do not miss it.
This one frame alone has filled me with more feeling than I could have imagined. Tim Burton used to care about giving these socially diminished "people" more heart and soul. Although, in this scene, Bellucci just rains this orgasmic joy of re-starting her life out of every pore.
Monica Bellucci's character in Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice is almost nothing more than a re-play of Tim Burton's Villains from Dark Shadows.
But... that "Tragedy" scene is glorious. If you ignore the judgmental backstory about her murdering people while in a cult.
Speaking of KP...
"Walking on Air" is fantastic. But? This is my favorite of her songs. (I also think "Bon Appétit" is underrated.)

May have mentioned before... But:
Best Pop Song of the Last 20 Years? Maybe not. But I'm hard-pressed to find a flaw in it. (VERY self-aware of the times. The times that lead us there. And the times then-shortly to come.) (Shockingly timeless.)

Speaking of songs that *made* the album (already an album with "Radar" on it- one of her *BEST* of all, period)...
I agree with critics convinced "Walking on Air" is the most un-KP Katy Perry song. But, still, there's NO Britney song like this one!

Why is my movie not being shown on NBC prior to the election? It is not a partisan movie. It's about a policy that was disgusting and should not be allowed to happen again. Make your own inferences.
We wish we had better news. But as of now, #MarcellusWilliams is still scheduled to be executed by Missouri tonight at 6 p.m. central for a crime he is totally innocent of.
Don’t stop sharing his story. It’s not too late to save an innocent life. https://t.co/eofSDX66tC
@paul_t_miller This sack of dung who demanded “VALET” like he’s royal.
I hope he never steps foot in public again without being shamed & every pillow he sleeps on until he leaves this mortal coil is hot on BOTH sides.
She suffered a pregnancy loss, got charged w/murder, held for 22 days, released to house arrest w/an ankle bracelet, and later cleared by a grand jury.
She was never even pulled over for a traffic stop before.
This is the legacy of trump’s Supreme Court.
