@hatzofftothee @adampieski Nobody saw it coming and I was all for JL being HC. It was figured he would just take a year off to rest if the right job didn't come along, though. He has been offered a buncso far. It'll be interesting to see how this all plays out now with Fick and Tressell.

@hatzofftothee @adampieski I'll concede there. I get that statistic seeing as JL was #1 over the previous 5 years before last. I can't imagine our #11 finish booted him out of #1 for the last 6 years. Anyway...I was wrong and the OP wasn't😄

@hawkguymatt @NorwegianGopher Exactly! This staff has a chance to exceed my expectations as far as recruiting the DL, CB and QB position for the first full class. Obviously it's wait and see with the development but on paper it seems they're stepping up. They're definitely going after long CB's ans safeties.

@hawkguymatt @NorwegianGopher I've got a lot of optimism for the S&C staff as previously stated. I think the old staff was too laid back tbh and the development was taking a slow hit.

@NorwegianGopher @hawkguymatt I trust he gained plenty of knowledge and experience in his 14 year stint with OSU and the hiring of of Phil Longo as OC. The S&C staff that had nine 3* players drafted in 2021 etc. Not to mention the recruiting is getting better.
