Young man identified as Richard Abraham, one of the students who represented Aguata Zone at the state level during the 2021 Governor’s Debate, has recounted how he stopped going to school after losing his mother following a brief illness.

Richard was reportedly one of the best speakers at the debate and was given the title “Honourable” by His Excellency Willie Obiano, who was the Governor of Anambra State at the time.

He shared his story after one of his former teachers recently met him and asked about what happened to him after leaving school.

Richard revealed that he stopped his education after losing his mother and is currently working as a bricklayer to make a living.

Now, this is coming from someone who have seen hundreds of women who are most likely fitter than your wife... some of which had prolonged labour and even had a c/section...

dear men, yall should start speaking like people who show empathy... people who give room for other women who aren't shaped like your wife.

Let me tell you why your wife had her baby in 5 minutes!

you had an average sized baby... probably not your first(maybe your first)... and the head of your baby down with good position of the head and labour progressed without her knowing...

She was probably 9-10cm before she got to the labour room... and if her waters were not broken... it'll get broken and she delivers...

Now, women with raised BMI(women you call fast) come in the labour room and deliver before 5 minutes!...

now, let all men read this and educate themselves.

Not all women have the same kind of body... infact abroad, Asia, Ireland and Europe as a whole ... so many women have raised BMI!... how do I know?... I've worked there!... many bigger than our African counterparts...

Now, yall should end body-shaming pregnant African women!

In 2002, my father was processing my sister’s visa.

One of the requirements was a Police Character Certificate.

He visited a state police headquarters to ask about the process.

A police officer told him it could only be processed in Lagos. He asked my sister to place her fingerprints on a sheet of paper and said he would transfer them onto the official certificate.

He said the fee was N262,000.

My father paid.

Two weeks later, my father returned to collect the document. What he received was a locally stamped paper with what looked like a criminal registry stamp. There was no signature from the Inspector General of Police or anything that suggested it was an official certificate.

Not knowing any better, my father submitted it with my sister’s visa application alongside other documents.

Her visa was refused.

One of the reasons given was that the police certificate could not be verified.

My father went back to the State Police Headquarters to ask what was wrong with the document.

The moment the same officer saw my father, he informed his other colleagues and their demeanor changed.

He then told my father to wait while he “checked something”.

Minutes later, another officer returned and loudly accused my father of forging a fake police report, calling on other officers to arrest him.

Imagine that.

The same institution that collected his money was now trying to make him the suspect.

Fortunately, my father immediately called a former Assistant Inspector General of Police he knew.

The atmosphere changed.

Afterward, my father received threats that if he ever returned to that station, he would be arrested.

That experience stayed with me.

It is one of many reasons I struggle whenever I hear the slogan, “Police is your friend”.

This was my family’s experience, and it left a lasting impression on us.

So “Police is not my friend”.

Something similar happened to me once.

I was trying to send 50k to someone's Opay, I got a digit wrongly and mistakenly sent to another person.

Using the Opay digit put 0 at the front. I called the number to tell him that I had sent some funds to him wrongly that hope he won't mind sending it back.
He said wrong number. I was damn sure it wasn't. He cut the phone.

Later he called me back that, Yes he truly received the money but if I want him to send it back, he had to take his own share of the money which was 20k.

I was shocked, you want to take almost half of the money, wrongly sent to you. I sent No! Send my money back.

He goes I am still arguing with him?
Then says, when I am ready I will tell him how much I want him to take from the money.

Immediately, I called my bank UBA, Explained what happened, provided reference details.

Then I told him okay, take your 20k and send me the remaining money. He said OK! After few minutes he removed his share of my money and sent the remaining.

Luckily , UBA reversed the money and removed my money from his account too 😂😂

Now the chips were on my end.
I just saw he started calling me. I gave him a little taste of his medicine.

Then he said He saw that the money had been removed from his account, I said Yes, I reported the transaction and got my money back.

He didn't know how to say it, He Then started begging that can I send back the one he sent to me?
I told him, if I decided to behave like a fraud like him and denied receiving the money, what will he do?

He goes, he is just a hustler and he is sorry for what he did.
He started begging , begging ... I said I am not like you, I will send your money back.

I sent his money back to him, dude was shocked
He tried being my friend and started checking up on me on whatsapp.

I tried to buy data of 300GB from Airtel. I mistakenly credited another person’s line. Mine ends with “2”, hers with 6. I called her in the morning, explained myself and sent receipt to her, she claimed I was trying to scam her but after I explained properly, she said there’s nothing she could do about it and that I should stop stressing her. She wouldn’t reply my texts too. I wanted to let it go until it struck me that this person was not even making attempts to return what is not theirs. So I called the customer care, gave them the transaction ID and other details requested, they reversed the 50k last night as airtime and I did my data all over. Good riddance.

I learnt beadmaking during my NYSC days in Lafia, Nasarawa State.

So when I got back home after my service year, I started making bead bags, flower pots and matted bags for sale alongside applying for jobs.

For context, at the time, I was already a chartered accountant with a first-class degree in accounting.

My mum would tell her friends and colleagues about my little business, and they would place orders, and I would stay up all night making those pieces for them.

Then one day, something happened.

My mum got back from work, and she said, ‘Ore, one of my friends placed an order for a bead purse; please help me make it for her’

My dad, who was also there, got instantly furious, and he said: ‘This is not my vision for her life, stop bringing her these orders, I want her to focus on getting good job opportunities’.

That was a reset moment for my mum and me. We just quietly dispersed, and it was the last order my mum ever brought me 🤣

I then refocused my time and energy on the aptitude tests I kept failing, began passing them, and landed a bank role and later a PwC role to kick-start my career.

Kannywood actress Fati Karishima has revealed that participating in President Tinubu’s 2023 campaign turned out to be one of the most painful experiences of her life. According to her, it was during the campaign that she met a man who is now a senior government official. She claims that he married her but later abandoned her, as reported by Dokin Ƙarfe TV.

Karishima stated that throughout their marriage, her husband never visited her residence, nor did he permit her to visit him. Their communication was limited to video calls. However, he rented a house for her, furnished it comfortably, and regularly provided financial support for her upkeep.

She further explained that a few months into the marriage, she developed a mysterious health condition that caused her to suffer continuous bleeding for five months. Despite undergoing numerous medical examinations, doctors were unable to determine the cause of the illness. She also experienced prolonged episodes of unconsciousness during that period.

According to the actress, while she was struggling with her health challenges, her husband gradually cut off communication and stopped providing any form of support. He allegedly stopped answering her calls and ceased sending her money for daily expenses.

Karishima said the situation eventually left her financially devastated, and many people distanced themselves from her. She added that when she later requested a divorce, the man denied ever marrying her and even claimed that he did not know her.

“In the end, I lost everything I had. When I asked him to divorce me, he said he had never married me, so how could he divorce someone he had never married? He even claimed that he did not know me at all,” Fati Karishima said.
