@dhanesh500 India was about 400 billion dollar economy in 2001. Now about 4 trillion, or 10 x. Ca number has grown much slower than gdp growth, about 5.5 times, as per the data on the chart. Looks reasonable.

@BoriaMajumdar Intersting statistics - year wise test average of dilip vengsarkar. A non captain, Mumbai player, middle order player just like ajinkya rahane. Look at the poor numbers for last 4 years. No wonder Rahane gets longest ropes from selectors.
