PRESIDENT TINUBU SHOULD REMAIN NEUTRAL AND ENSURE A FREE, FAIR ELECTION IN OSUN — OLAJENGBESI
"Mr. President should not take the support of the people of Osun State for granted. He may not even be in Nigeria during the August 15 election, and I do not expect him to campaign for the APC candidate or issue statements endorsing him because he is the President of all Nigerians. That is why he stayed away from the APC campaign flag-off. All we ask of President Bola Tinubu is to ensure that the right thing is done and that the election is free, fair and credible."

Press Statement
PDP Condoles Amaechi on Mother’s Demise
The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party has condoled with the Vice Presidential Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and former Governor of Rivers State, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi, over the death of his mother, Dame Ezinne Mary Amaechi. The message was conveyed during a condolence visit by the National Chairman of the Interim National Working Committee, Kabiru Turaki, SAN, who led members of the party’s leadership to the former governor’s Abuja residence.
Turaki said, “Nothing prepares anybody for the loss of a parent, especially a mother. So we can only imagine the deep loss and grief that you and your family are going through. As a party on whose platform you served the good people of Rivers State as Speaker and later as Governor, we share in your grief and encourage you to be strong, knowing the certainty of death and its role as a window to immortality.”
In his response, Amaechi expressed deep appreciation for the visit and the words of condolence. He recounted the many sacrifices that his parents, especially his mother, made in raising him and his siblings. While commending the Turaki-led PDP for its resilience and defence of multi-party democracy, he stressed that unity of the opposition is the only means by which the Tinubu administration can be voted out of office in the interest of the country and its citizens. He added that the opposition must continue to explore various ways of cooperating as the election approaches, else the incumbent will have a smooth ride back to power.
In the delegation were Wonyengikuro Daniel, National Secretary; Richard Ihediwa, Deputy National Secretary; Isa Abubakar, National Treasurer; Theophilus Dakas Shan, National Organising Secretary; Abdullahi Ibrahim, Kebbi State Governorship Candidate; and Ini Ememobong, National Publicity Secretary.

“I do not respond to my subordinates; Wike never hired me. By the time the campaign begins, we will respond to anyone who chooses to insult us. We will descend to whatever level they want. The President said all is fair in politics, and we will meet them at that level.”
— Rotimi Amaechi
Vows to match political attacks during campaigns.
The Osun election margin will make history. One for the book. Osun APC are not on ground, the only place they have any form of presence is social media and it is because of the support from their national noisemakers. Adeleke will clear all the doubts on August 15. Be there.
This is the dangers of a Muslim-Muslim ticket in a secular country like Nigeria.
Just see how these data boys have been insulting and ridiculing Cardinal Onaiyekan.
This is something they can never try against the Sultan of Sokoto. They can't even attempt it against the least Emir in the North.
The attacks on Cardinal John Onaiyekan is proof that Christians are persecuted in Nigeria. Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the culprit. He has declared war against Catholic Bishops.
United Opposition Could Defeat APC in 2027 - Asukewe Ikoawaji
The opposition must come together on a common platform if it hopes to succeed in the 2027 elections. A united opposition would pose a serious challenge to the APC.

“I have classmates in primary school; I have classmates in secondary school. Alex Otti [Abia governor] was my junior at the University of Port Harcourt. I am calling people so you can ask whether I went to university or primary school or secondary school.”

“President Tinubu, I’m passing this message to you. Osun will not accept any rigging. We will go out en masse and vote, and we will defend our votes. Osun Accord has endorsed you as our presidential candidate. Why are we suffering? Oyetola needs to be called to order” — Ademola Adeleke
Whatever the President (Tinubu) wants to do in the field, we will do in the field. For me, I’m not worried about what he wants to do whether he will wrestle or won’t wrestle, we meet in the field. That is not the issue. The issue is that what the President and his men are doing is insulting to my faith.
