The UK economy basically works like this:
Get paid £2,000.
Give £900 to a landlord. Give £200 to the council. Give £150 to energy companies. Give £300 to supermarkets. Give £300 to car insurance and fuel.
Spend the rest surviving until next payday.
Then get lectured by someone who bought their house for £37,000 in 1988 about how you need to stop buying coffees and cancel subscriptions.
Trying to think for both Ireland and the UK what was the last piece of major legislation for the under 65s that wasn't some kind of crackdown, ban or cuts.
@KalleSorbo English US final for England to win would put the yanks in the dirt too and would be very funny. Doubt either of us make it that far but would be soooooo funny
Ultimately, there is no amount of facts, logic, rebuttals, statistics, or graphs that can truly counteract a paid agitator snorting a line of coke backstage before lying to a crowd of people who want to be lied to so very much.
Burnham is getting dragged more for going on his daily jog than Reform did for appointing a candidate who said Nigerians should be melted down. They do this every time.
The irony of the leadership mess and accusations within Labour, is that we have a PM who went to a normal university and has worked his way up, being lectured on not understanding the working class by two career politicians who went to Oxbridge.
@AtEnquiries1961@gorbalsgoebbels They wouldn’t last a general election or not being labour and if they vote against whip their constituents would rail them. I don’t think they think they have the mandate to break whip.
Three ministers gone, including Jess Phillips, which is surprising. Meanwhile, the unnecessary chaotic scrambling caused the markets to shit themselves and the pound fell. Making us poorer. Perpetuating the decline Farage helped to cause and profits from.
Great work, morons.
The British public choosing to leave the EU and the constant chopping and changing of PMs since because of public pressure is a massive sign of our country’s falling education rates.
The public have no understanding of how long change takes or how it has to be achieved or even what needs changing.
I’m v glad to hear the breaking news on the BBC News channel that the Prime Minister is not going anywhere and that if people want a different PM they should use the process of the Labour Party.
He won the election, he has the mandate, he’s a good leader & he should stay PM.
