Every day and every night, @eurofighter Typhoon stands watch over
From Quick Reaction Alert in the UK to NATO air policing missions across Europe, Typhoon is more than a fighter jet. It is the backbone of the UK's commitment to our allies and a deterrent to those who would threaten our security.
Here @RoyalAirForce pilot Ben explain exactly why it's the perfect aircraft for the job.

Brontanax, the UK's first uncrewed Collaborative Combat Aircraft represents a significant step forward in how we think about air power.
What makes it significant is not just the aircraft itself, but what it enables. Operating alongside crewed platforms like @eurofighter Typhoon, Brontanax extends combat reach and mass—bringing electronic warfare and precision strike capabilities into the mix while keeping pilots out of harm's way.
It forms part of our broader commitment to delivering the right capability at the right cost.
The nature of air power is changing.
Brontanax is part of how we're responding to that.

The T-150 Uncrewed Air Systems takes on routine logistics work previously done by crewed aircraft—at a fraction of the cost. That frees up helicopters for missions where they're needed the most.
Matching the right capability to the task - transforming operations with the T-150.

From the first flight of the UK’s last combat air technology demonstrator, the EAP, forty years ago, Typhoon was built to constantly evolve.
Today its electronic warfare capabilities are constantly evolving, enabling pilots to detect, identify and counter emerging threats at speed.
Together with our @eurofighter Typhoon partners Leonardo, we are developing a next generation radar to ensure @RoyalAirForce pilots are protected in the future battlespace.

FCAS is an integrated future combat air system, with a next-generation stealth fighter jet at its core - operating as the central node controlling the air, through a connected network of systems and uncrewed assets and providing information superiority across land, sea, air and space.
The wider integrated system will enable the principles of crewed–uncrewed teaming, software-driven capability, and seamless multi-domain integration, through real-time data sharing across all domains.
This means that FCAS is far more than just a new fighter jet. It is a next-generation integrated combat air system delivering a vital step-change in capability as a highly credible deterrent capability, enabling freedom of action and sovereignty.

This is the UK's first crewed combat air demonstrator in more than 40 years ✈️
Designed, built and prepared to fly in Britain, it's helping us grow the skills that keep the UK at the forefront of combat aircraft design, production, testing and certification.
Those skills and expertise will carry forward into the next-generation combat aircraft being delivered through the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP).
