The hardest war we have been through is not the war in Gaza; the real war is the one within you, between a voice inside telling you to stop and another telling you to keep going... between your fear of change and the pain of staying the same. The truth is, inside every person there are two versions: one at ease, but weak, and one weary, but strong. The first chooses the easy way out and loses herself, while the second endures the pain and wins life.
(And the real question here is... which version of them are you feeding every day??...
Although we have many memories, some happy and some sad, we cannot choose what we remember.
Memories impose themselves whenever they wish.
Years of our lives passed in the blink of an eye. The circumstances we lived through changed us. Our concepts, priorities, and methods changed...
We've endured more than two years of suffering, and the suffering continues. I've chosen to move forward, trying to ignore everything we've been through and throw it all behind me...
But despite that... yesterday I was out looking for a wire fence for the shelter when a drone bombed a police car 100 meters away from me... I wasn't hurt, but I postponed the matter until things calmed down a bit because there were several drone strikes on Gaza yesterday...
There are moments that haunt us no matter how hard we run from them, leaving scars on our hearts as witnesses. What happened yesterday is like someone reopening those wounds. Some memories remain silent within us, yet they live on...
But I chose to move forward...
As you can see in the pictures below, I've finished installing the shelter's frame and the metal roof. Now there's just one more thing to do to complete the shelter: I need to find a wire mesh fence to cover it. It's a difficult task given the siege we're under, but I'll do my best to find what the shelter needs...
Anything we want, we obtain with great difficulty... and if we find it, we find it at very ridiculous prices..
As long as you are by my side, I will do the impossible to get it..
I continue to care for the cats that survived the war with me... I'm still striving to build them a beautiful shelter and to provide them with the food and veterinary care they need..
My dear friends,
Things are very tight, while we face a terrible inflation problem due to the ruthless black market.
your support is a great honor for me and helps me move forward..

I am so grateful to everyone who appreciates our efforts, to everyone who loves us and tells us we deserve the best. I am so grateful to everyone who gives us positive energy despite the evil prevalent in the world.
I am strong because of you.
I love you all.
Much love to Alex Pretti and Renee Good—but remember—ICE has killed 9 people in 2026. You know the names of the 2 white people they've killed.
ICE has also killed a Black man named Keith Porter, a Cambodian named Parady La, and five Latinos named Heber Sanchaz Domínguez, Victor Manuel Diaz, Luis Beltran Yanez-Cruz, Luis Gustavo Nunez Caceres, and Geraldo Lunas Campos.
ICE is on pace to kill more than 100 people this year. Abolish ICE. Impeach Noem. Prosecute those who committed these crimes.
