It is noteworthy that you, the father of Mrs Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), remain sharp of mind and warm of spirit at this advanced age."
President Tinubu while wishing to read Ashafa Erogbogbo's book “Echoes of Grace: The Journey of a Century,” published to mark his birthday notes that he rejoices with him, the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren in the extraordinary milestone.

The group, led by Adeyeye Olugbenga, its convener, said the demonstration was aimed at defending Nigeria’s democracy and the integrity of the electoral body.
Olugbenga said the protest followed “attacks from all manner of destructive elements” against INEC after the commission complied with a court injunction and removed the “illegal leadership of ADC in person of David Mark” from its portal.
