However, injuries halted her progress for several years - but her confidence never shook. She just made her Roland-Garros debut as the only Indian in the singles competition

India will not be without singles representation at Roland-Garros afterall as Karman Kaur Thandi has interestingly sneaked into the Women’s Singles Qualifying draw with her injury protected WTA Ranking of 238 💪🏽

This will be Thandi’s 4th Grand Slam Qualifying appearance (Australian Open: 2019, 2021; US Open: 2023)
