A disgracefully misleading and disingenuous message from Keir Starmer on inheritance tax on family farms. Over 80,000 farms are affected and many can’t afford to pay IHT without selling land. And pitting farmers against the NHS is grotesquely manipulative.
Starmer recently used the NHS waiting lists as blackmail to defend destroying the livelihoods of British farmers.
However, he is happy to give ANOTHER £12m in foreign aid to Mauritius. On top of the £18bn & £17m to Gaza.
We’re a bottomless pit of cash for everyone except Brits.
Here is Starmer saying that it’s a choice between shorter NHS waiting lists or ‘tax breaks for farmers’.
Alternatively we could not:
Send £500m to foreign farmers.
Give £2.7bn in ‘compensation’ to Gerry Adams.
Send £18bn to Mauritius.
Waste billions on eco vanity projects.

Cows are environmentally sustainable. Methane from cows is part of the natural carbon cycle that after 10-12 years breaks down into natural CO2 and water. Grass absorbs the CO2 by photosynthesis and the cycle repeatedly continues. It’s time to end this bullshit propaganda based narrative that cows somehow destroy the planet.
Farmers are facing huge pressures on a number of fronts and yet, governments are finding numerous ways to make their lives even more difficult. And that’s why farmers are protesting.
It’s time for a fair deal for farmers. Farming should be right at the top of government prioritisation and support. Our food security and maintenance of the countryside depends on them.
As I discussed with @TVKev | @TalkTV
In 1995 milk was retailing at around 63p/l. Using the Bank of England inflation tool that should equate to £1.28/l…. Not 75p-£1 range we see. That’s why farmers are packing up and production is so low despite huge demand. It won’t be long before we see shelves empty! #FairTrade
@RobertForster3 A holstein friesian young members event. @HolsteinUK That's a very much younger me hiding on the right. I clear remember being inspired by John Moffitt and his herd.
@scruffd Looks fantastic, herbal type leys the way forward. There is no way your grazing cows will reach that. You'll needs some holsteins with long legs. 😂
@Graiseconsult1 By end of year hope to have 100% herbal type leys on grazing platform. We have a dry sandy farm on coast and this stuff seems to way out perform ryegrass/clover mixes.
