@drewlevin (6/x) Probably just a quirk of the ranked system overall, but nonetheless found it worth commenting on. The idea of a ‘collective squad rank’ is potentially interesting, but you **need** to be able to freely move people in/out of squads.

@drewlevin flexible squads are basically mandatory to make this have a shot at long term success imo, there’s a lot of friend groups where there’s like 6-8 people who play league so being able to move people in/out freely is really nice

@PolkaNDot2 @ProxyFreak this has little to do with why Tauros is the best Pokemon in the tier, everything in gen 1 benefitted it; its absurd critrate due to base speed determining crit rate, having STAB Hyper Beam, 252 EVs across the board gave it passable special and solid bulk, and its top class speed
