Pakistan and Qatar have reportedly finalized a landmark Strategic Defense Agreement.

Pakistan will station its military forces at Qatari bases

As part of the pact, Qatar has committed $2 billion in immediate financial support to stabilize Pakistan's economy.

With this deal, Pakistan becomes the first Islamic nation to maintain active military presences in more than two countries (Qatar and Saudi Arabia) simultaneously.

Facilitated by Saudi Arabia and Turkey, this alliance cements Pakistan's new role as the primary security guarantor for the Gulf.
