Good people have high levels of empathy, but once that empathy is exhausted, they switch to a state of objective observation. They see you for exactly who you are, without the filter of their love. This is why their anger feels so cold, it is the absence of the warmth you took for granted
Most times the strongest form of self-respect is leaving people alone!!! Stop forcing conversations, chasing closure, or trying to convince people to see your point of view. What wants you won’t need to be begged. Protect your peace and keep it moving. 🤍
That awkward moment when you've already checked out emotionally and finally made peace with letting go, then they suddenly start doing everything right. 😩
But instead of feeling happy, you're irritated because it feels forced, delayed, and unnatural.
Sometimes it's not that you don't appreciate the effort. It's just that it came after the damage was already done. 💔
cutting people off feels different now. it’s not anger, it’s grief. like dang… I really wanted you here, but your actions showed me I’m not safe with you.
painful truth: u MUST develop a strong opinion of yourself, because if u don't, somebody else will do it for u. and trust me... some ppl will reduce your entire existence to their mood, their jealousy, their insecurity, or one mistake u made three years ago. don't let strangers become the author of your identity. damn...jeeezzz .
Sometimes, God will pull you away from people you thought would be in your life forever, not to punish you, but to protect you. He sees what you can't, hears conversations you weren't meant to and removes what's blocking your blessings. Trust the separation, even when it hurts. What's meant for you will never require you to beg, chase or lose yourself.

But, I need your help!🧵
@eyojoel77 How about finding the beauty in it and give yourself reasons to feel better about yourself.
Like look the kind of love I am capable of !
The kind of kindness, understanding and tolerance I was able to muster .
And this should be an assurance that you would love the right people
My dad says he always sides with his wife because at least he knows she’s his. We, on the other hand, were just brought home from the hospital and introduced to him. 😂😂
