A new Jihadi offensive in the part of robotix Somalia against the better developed #Somaliland. Somalians are programmed robots. This time around, masters instal drivers averting attention from their Shabab partners-in-loot. Proof: out of 1000s they pick out the few from SL!
Ninkan cid la talisa miyuu waayey?
The so-called international partners should stand charged for allowing this nitwit, anarchy merchant to enter Las Anod and sow hatred and extremism tricking @Somaliland@US2SOMALIA@SecBlinken@DavidLammy@David_Cameron@DrJPPham @MariamRobly
The audacity of the Djibouti government proclaiming their intention to provide peacekeeping forces to Somalia during the AU's new phase is simply mind-boggling. How can they possibly ignore the overwhelming evidence of their own forces, operating under AMISOM, shamefully selling weapons on the black market in Somalia, aiding in money laundering and financing terrorism for groups such as pirates, Al-Shabaab, and the Houthis in Yemen? The African Union must seriously reconsider their decision to entrust Djibouti with the role of "peacekeepers" in Somalia.
@FarahMaalimM This boogie man has no shame at all..tribalist, anarchist, Somalian as opposed to Kenyan, genocidal, a poof, ignorant, uneducated an impostor, an actor....and many more..more. Who is he kidding in this tweet???
Breaking News: According to credible sources within the diplomatic community in Somalia, it has been confirmed that the Chinese government, through their embassy in Mogadishu, transferred a significant amount of $5 million to the Wadani party leaders in June for the upcoming elections in November 2024 in Somaliland. It is widely known that the Wadan Party holds anti-Taiwan sentiments and strongly supports China, which makes this financial intervention even more concerning. However, there is more to this story. Our sources indicate that the Chinese government has also provided substantial funding of $5 million to the Laascaanood militia, enabling them to acquire new weaponry from the Houthi rebels through their allies in Puntland. Adding to the complexity, the new leader of Laascaanood militia was recently invited by the President of Djibouti, who has initiated a proxy war against Somaliland. The Awdal militia, already financed and armed by Djibouti, is expected to receive even more weapons and financial aid from the country.
Key Intel:
• The Chinese embassy in Mogadishu has effectively laundered the $10 million through various local NGOs in Somalia and Somaliland to Irro and Laascanood militia.
• The Chinese government has informed President Hassan Sheikh about their involvement in the upcoming elections and have received approval to support the opposition leader in Somaliland, Abdirahman Irro, who strongly advocates for the unity of Somalia and China.
• Initially, the Laascaanood militia had requested weapons from China but were denied and instead offered a substantial sum of $5 million in cash, along with promised food aid.
• Chinese companies have secured agreements with the Laascaanood militia to mine rare earth minerals in the Sool and Sanaag regions.
Key Judgement:
This treacherous act has left many questions unanswered. Are there any laws in Somaliland that prohibit domestic or foreign financing of political parties? And what consequences will China face for their blatant interference in the election process through money laundering? The lack of election financing regulations in Somaliland only invites corruption and outside interference, threatening the very essence of democracy in Somaliland. The stakes are high in the upcoming election, with a dangerous game of proxy wars being funded by Somalia, Djibouti, and now China. The violence and chaos that is sure to follow before and after the election is a grave concern. It is crucial to see how Taiwan, a strong ally of Somaliland, will react and protect their democratic process, which is at serious risk. With the US election also happening during this time, and the fact that Moly Phee is still pushing for a Greater Somalia agenda, the inaction of the US government is both disappointing and inevitable.
@simba_guleid@FarahMaalimM Lying and denying is always a tradition with liars who go on the attack. These ppl quickly cry WOLF when they are caught on the act. This man has been making himself a hero with his tribe intentionally undermining his civic responsibilities not to mention that of #Kenya.
The failed former United States has not yet realized why it is being edged out of everywhere…still living in a cocoon at the White, graying House!@StateDept @peterpham@SecBlinken
Whilst the Prime Minister meets with the Houthis, the President of #Somalia, arrived today in #Eritrea and was received by President Isaias Afwerki!
The axis of evil in the Horn of Africa are cooking up trouble, in order to try and spread instability in the region.
Most security analysts are reporting that Somalia is arming itself to destabilise #Somaliland. The strategy involves funding and arming warlords via #Djibouti before launching a full-scale offensive of itself.
However, before any offensive against Somaliland, Somalia is attempting to court Al Shabab. Somalia has begun fully institutionalising Al Shabab, which is already integrated into their government.
This move is seen as a precursor before an all-out war against Somaliland can be initiated.
@Abdulyaqub@Sheikhal_Iabha@AmbRhodaJElmi There was none. Do please believe the face saving lines as one by all means. If any, the admission that there were two states that cane together voluntarily to liberate the three others by forming a union was one.
You have every right to keep fooling yourselves. By all means!
@Abdulyaqub@AmbRhodaJElmi Typical. Resort to insult and innuendoes whenever you ppl are caught in the open. Ambassador is not the mouthpiece and parroting voices most of you are.
Just wanted to clarify a few things here:
1. Mogadishu leaders continually claim that the recent December meeting in Djibouti between them and the #Somaliland President Muse Biihi ended well. This is untrue! The meeting was contentious, and the only agreement reached was to issue a harmless communiqué recycled from previous meetings, done at the insistence of our host, the president of Djibouti, and adhering to basic protocols. It was therefore surprising when, barely 24 hours later, the other side was touting this meeting as a success. Repeating this falsehood till today will not make it any more truthful.
2. Mogadishu must understand that the days when they could exploit Somaliland's coastline and ports for political relevance and financial gain are over. It is time they learned to live with this new reality and moved on. Somaliland's coastline now belongs to only Somaliland, and they alone can determine its future.
3. There is an abundance of “social media experts” opposed to the #Somaliland-#Ethiopia MoU, and they are all from Somalia, with a few from elsewhere but not a single person among them hails from Somaliland. Most, if not all, have never set foot in Somaliland nor have any physical or emotional attachment to it. Their persistent claims over what was never theirs is bordering on the obsessive. But as the saying goes, "hadal badani haan ma buuxsho" (excessive words cannot fill an empty barrel), their words, time and efforts will amount to nothing. If anything, this reminds us of the immense animosity they harbor for SL and its people.
Thisbis the kind of stupidity, hatred and pure, venomous jelousy that keeps #Somalia in dumped as a failed pseido-state for over 39 yrs. False reports. #Mogadishu anarchy portrayed as #Hargeisa incidents. Stupid indeed!
#Somaliland forward!
#Thread Djibouti Ties with hostile bad actors in Red Sea and Horn of Africa
The actions of Djibouti as a clandestine state actor and regional spoiler are deeply concerning, as it seeks to destabilize both Somaliland and Somalia. It is mind-boggling that despite being a member of the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) and hosting military bases for powerful nations such as the EU and US, Djibouti engages in activities that undermine peace and security in the region.
Utilizing front line companies and shipping services, Djibouti has become a hub for Hezbollah to carry out illegal activities such as money laundering, terrorism financing, drug trafficking, and weapon smuggling. Furthermore, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has established ties with Djibouti's Hezbollah network to smuggle weapons and illegal oil. But it doesn't end there.
The Chinese government also takes advantage of Djibouti's front line companies to smuggle weapons into the Awdal region, using the AMISOM mission as a cover to evade arms embargo sanctions until November 2023. Not only that, but Djibouti also supports tribal chiefs and the Dir tribe in Somalia's Awdal region, further destabilizing the government in Somaliland. To add to the chaos, Chinese weapons procured through Djibouti's front line companies are transferred to Al-Shabaab, fueling their ongoing war in Somalia. It is a cunning game of power and manipulation that threatens the peace and stability of the entire region.
1/2 Grateful to @USIP for convening a distinguished group of experts for a meaningful discussion around Somaliland’s role in ensuring security in the Red Sea, as well as the Berbera Port’s potential to accelerate the flow of trade and investment in the Horn of Africa and beyond.
I invite all Somalilanders to join me in thanking Hon. @EstherPassaris , Nairobi Woman Representative in the Kenyan Parliament, for her unwavering support and advocacy for the recognition of the Republic of Somaliland.
In her recent speech, she encouraged us to remain steadfast and expressed her wish for all global nations to recognize the Republic of Somaliland.
Using an accurate map, the Observatory of Economic Complexity (OEC) effortlessly showcases the true economic landscape of various nations, notably distinguishing Somalia and Somaliland. What truly astounded was the fact that Somaliland alone exports a staggering 50% of Somalia's gold, valued at a remarkable $137M to the United Arab Emirates.
Somaliland is moving up whether you hate it or love it.
