@Flourish_Africa We are grateful for this great opportunity. Thank you so much @Flourish_Africa
You have taught us that "good" is Not Enough if "GREAT" is an option.
And also, not to allow someone else hold the pen when writing our own stories...
Every step is wholesome and worthwhile 💯🙏👏👏👏
@Flourish_Africa Yes! It was a thrilling experience. In the midst of other valued women and learning the use of Microsoft Word and Excel in the most detailed way.
Thank you so much Flourish Africa for all you do for womenpreneurs 👏👏👏🥂
Over the weekend, 504 ambitious women came together to kick off the Flourish Africa Business and Life Skills Programme (Cohort 4)
It was a powerful start filled with learning, growth, and inspiration.
@lollylarry1 See her innocent face 🤣🤣🤣
The first even tried to make eba, I'd have just leave the kitchen for them for the whole day 😜
In-house side chick! 🙄
@alex_unusual All we wanted was *to pitch on a global stage, with our pitch decks projected to a global audience!*
The game was premeditated and well executed, the convener was unapologetic about it and even went as far as addressing us like a bunch of beggars...
This is our honest review...
@alex_unusual Everything is wrong with taking advantage of entrepreneurs and shouldn't just be trivialized, they'll feel it's okay and the cycle keeps going. Many of us were not even there for the grant because we knew they needed just 3 winners, so the probability of emerging one was low...
@alex_unusual Who sends a *broadcast mail* to thousands of people only to make them waste time in a secluded room for a 1-2 minutes screening in the name of "pitching"..
Even pitch decks were not projected!
Not even for those selected to pitch at the finale!?
@alex_unusual We had a very horrible experience!
We were obviously used as "pawns", we were the "main crowd", otherwise, the pitch would have been done virtually and the finest shortlisted for the physical pitch...

Apparently, event started late accompanied by other disorganizations people experienced. You can’t expect them not to ask you when the whole thing will start.
No matter the amount you are giving, people shouldn’t be spoken to like this because they need investment.
This was disrespectful.
Start up business owners were asked to come and pitch to international and national investors for $20,000. People traveled from different places to Akure. I rewatched this video today and I’m still upset.
This is discouraging for the business owners.
