If you get cut you lose blood. If you went to war and suffered into blood but made a full recovery, did you not sacrifice your blood for your cause? When you got to work and bleed, and you pour out sweat, did you not put your blood and sweat into that building as well as effort and care. As a father who watches his beloved suffer the whip and the blood falls from the sting of the lash, will he not say, he is innocent. He does not deserve this punishment. And yet he willingly takes it for them. Jesus said, I lay down my life. He gave it up. It was the blood that covers our sins. Jesus did lose his life, only he also had the power to take it up again. One cannot deny the cost of laying down one’s life, the suffering endured was felt and remembered. The point is, is was only by god that we could be saved. Why say who can save us but god and he is unjust for not doing so? Why say? If only god can save why doesn’t he? For then you say if god has saved us, at what cost? Here is the truth, if god had the law unto himself and we broke that law, he himself made amends with himself. It’s like saying unto your self, I am upset that I spent $400 on this golf club, however if I work Saturday and Sunday I will not return it but keep it for the cost will not be an extra burden.
@ReasonTheology@allenanalysis That’s not what it teaches! It teaches that the if the woman cries out she is innocent. But if she doesn’t cry out means she is a willing participant in the sex and that they should marry.
