Harry my friend, you deserve every bit of this award for your resilience, hard work and honesty with which you’ve carried yourself through all these years playing football at the top. Really happy for you. God bless you and your family. They must all be very proud of you as you would be of your own journey. My best wishes always. Congratulations 👏❤️ @HKane

Part:1
Harsh reality: In my team, there are 6 Kannadigas who are hardworking, dedicated, and really talented. There’s also 1 Tamil girl who works well and 2 North Indians who are good at their work. But then there are 3 Telugu people, and their situation is completely different.

@VardhishnaM Convey the same to your people's who are disrespecting our language and culture..

[Reckless Monk @methri_uday]

each Kannadiga is observing stance of political parties..
INC & BJP.. .both are national parties & their brains are in the hands of Modi & Rahul Gandhi..

out of these two..
BJP with its small rule has done more damage to Kannada ethnicity..
under BSY amended the 1961 Land Reforms Act to repeal Sections 79A, 79B, and 79C. This change allowed any Indian citize.,not just traditional agriculturists to buy and own farmland in Karnataka..
Whatta blow that was..

& now BJP appeasing migrants in bengaluru for votes.. just look at byatarayanapura constituency BJP MLA🤦🏻‍♂️

Tejaswi Surya who jumps on streets like a hero for marwadi people & takes complete control of city when modi arrives to bengaluru.. is all mum about Kannadigas being discriminated in IT opportunities in Bengaluru..

INC atleast has voice for Kannadigas..
INC has produced some unapologetic Kannada politicians like urs , Bangarappa , siddaramaiah etc..
hoping DKShi anna joins the list too..
problem with INC is mallu lobby🤷🏻‍♂️

but BJP Karnataka is a cutthroat anti-Kannada..

and JDS? better not talk about these clowns..

Local Kannadigas and the Karnataka government built the foundations of Bengaluru’s IT boom; migrants from other states largely arrived later to fill the jobs it created.Business-standard

Key Foundations:
Pre-IT base: IISc, HAL, BEL, ISRO and similar institutions created a strong engineering culture long before software.

State infrastructure: KEONICS (1976) and R.K. Baliga established Electronics City in 1978 on ~332 acres. It attracted early companies (HP, Siemens, Wipro, Infosys, Motorola) and helped seed the cluster.Electronic-city

Local entrepreneurship:
Infosys was founded by N.R. Narayana Murthy (born in Karnataka, Kannada-speaking family) and co-founders; it moved to Bengaluru in 1983 and became a defining company. Wipro’s IT transformation was also rooted in the city.Capitalvia

Policy push:
Karnataka was the first state with a dedicated IT policy (1997). Under CM S.M. Krishna, an IT Task Force (involving Murthy) and public-private efforts accelerated growth. Recent policies continue this, targeting major export and job increases.

Results and Timing

Karnataka (mainly Bengaluru) has consistently held ~40–43% of India’s IT/software exports for years (STPI data; e.g., ~₹4.09 lakh crore in 2023–24). Bengaluru hosts nearly half of India’s GCCs and a very large IT workforce (claims of 25–26 lakh professionals). The state produces over 1 lakh engineers a year.X

Mass migration for IT jobs accelerated only in the mid-1990s—after Electronics City, early R&D centres (e.g., Texas Instruments 1985), Infosys/Wipro scaling, and state policies were already in place. Migrants supplied scale and talent once the opportunity existed, but they did not initiate the boom.

Bottom line:
Local founders, the pre-existing technical ecosystem, and deliberate state policies and parks created the conditions. Immigrants amplified the workforce afterward; they were not the main reason the boom happened in Bengaluru.

Malayalis are “the most tolerant” until a North Indian migrant speaks Hindi in Palakkad and gets lynched while crying for his life.
97% monolingual state flexing zero language issues is the weakest flex on the internet.

Tamils tried this sh!t and were shown their place back in 90s itself. If lanjandhras try this, they will be beaten like dogs and kicked out of Bengaluru.
