Righty threw 6.1 innings of 1 run ball fully utilizing a 3 pitch mix. Was able to pound the zone with the low 80s fastball to set up the secondary pitches. Changeup in the low 70s was used to generate weak contact while the low 60s curveball froze hitters and generated whiffs.
