Some young artists at Ayigya Zongo in Kumasi have begun transforming the Tech Junction footbridge into a colourful display of creativity and patriotism.

The group is painting portraits of Ghana’s current and former heads of state as part of efforts to beautify the area while showcasing local artistic talent.

The initiative, according to the artists, was inspired by the recent beautification projects championed by the Ashanti regional minister at the Asokwa Interchange.
